I stood over against a wall while Anakin and Padmé continued to talk and Jar Jar was still messing around with items. Jar Jar pulls a part out a stack of parts and inspects it, while the rest all come tumbling down. He struggles to catch them, only to knock more down. Both Anakin and Padmé seems oblivious to what Jar Jar has done. I looked around to make sure that no one was looking and quickly used the force to put all the parts back stacked up, putting the one that Jar Jar was holding at the top of the pile.

"Jar Jar, stop it." I hissed at him. "We may haft to pay for anything that you break."

Jar Jar steps away from the pile of parts and says, "Okie day."

Qui-Gon and R2 comes back into the shop. "We're leaving." Qui-Gon says. "Come on Jar Jar."

I looked back over to Jar Jar who was holding yet another peice of parts. Well he was more like juggling them than holding them. You've got to be kidding me. The parts come crashing down to the ground as Jar Jar just drops then and hurries out of the shop. I looked at the parts and was glade when I noticed that none of them where broken.

"I'm glad to have met you." Padmé tells Anakin with a loving look. Padmé turns away from him and I fill him radiate with sadness.

"I was glad to meet you too." Anakin tells her as we leave the store.

Once we were a few ways from the store, I told Padmé, "you like him, don't you?"

"How-no!" Padmé tells me. "I just met him."

"I could tell by the way you looked at him and I felt waves of sadness practically rolling off of him when you had to leave." I told Padmé.

"You-how did he feel about me?" Padmé asks me.

"I'm not telling." I told her. "Besides, you probably won't see him again. Once we leave this planet, there's a rare chance of coming back."

"You're right, I suppose." Padmé tells me. I could feel sadness radiating from her aura as she said the last bit.

----

Qui-Gon puts his comlink away and comes back out into the main street, grabbing Jar Jar's arm as he does so.

"Noah gain... Noah gain da beings hereabouts cawazy. Wesa be robbed un crunched." Jar Jar tells Qui-Gon.

"Not likely. We have nothing of value, that's our problem." Qui-Gon tells the gungan.

As we walked down the street, I felt something off. I looked around our group and couldn't tell where the gungan had gone off to.

"Where is Jar Jar?" I asked Qui-Gon. Qui-Gon searches the crowd before walking in a direction, in which R2, Padmé, and myself follow him in. When we reached Jar Jar, I noticed that he was with the boy from the shop, Anakin.

"Hi!" Anakin tells us.

"Hi there." Qui-Gon tells him.

"Your buddy here was about to be turned into orange goo. He picked a fight with a Dug. An especially dangerous Dug called Sebulba." Anakin tells us.

"Mesa haten crunchen. Dat's da last ting mesa wanten." Jar Jar says annoyingly.

Can he even speak a language that isn't annoying? I asked myself.

"Nevertheless, the boy is right...you were heading for trouble.... Thanks, my young friend." Qui-Gon tells Jar Jar and Anakin.

I watched as Anakin looked at Padmé and smiled, and Padmé smiled back. We all started to walk down the street together after that.

"Thought you said I would probably never see him again?" Padmé whispered to me.

"I'm pretty sure that I implied once we got off this dust ball." I whispered back to her.

"Whatever." Padmé whispers to me.

"But... but... mesa doen nutteen!" Jar Jar says. It took less time for me and Padmé to have a simple conversation than it did for Jar Jar to come with something else to say? You've gotta be kidding me.

Anakin leads us to a vender on the side of the street that sells fruit. "Here, you'll like these pallies... Here."

"Thank you." Qui-Gon says before he places them in a little poncho that he carries around. Him doing that slight action, makes him reveal his lightsaber.

"Oh, my bones are aching..." The vender tells us. "Storm's coming up, Annie. You'd better get home quick."

"Do you have shelter?" Anakin asks us.

"We'll go back to our ship." I told Anakin.

"Is it far?" He looks at me askingly.

"It's on the outskirts." Padmé tells him.

"You'll never reach the outskirts in time...sandstorms are very, very dangerous. Come on! I'll take you to my place." Anakin tells us.

With nothing better to do, we followed Anakin to his home. I can tell from the force that we won't make it to the ship in time. And I'm guessing that the force is telling Qui-Gon the same thing as he leads the group in the direct that Anakin walks into. The wind blows hard as we walk threw down the streets to Anakin's home. I grabbed hold of my hood as the wind threatens to blow it off, it's already blowing the lower half of my cloak all over the place, no doubt showing my lightsabers once or twice. I used the force to hold the lower half of my cloak down as we continued to walk to the house.

----

As we entered the house, Anakin shouts out, "Mom! Mom! I'm home."

"Dissen cozy." Jar Jar says as he looks around the small home.

A woman with brown hair and caring brown eyes walks into the room. The wrinkles on her face makes her look a bit older than I'm sure she is.

"These are my friends, Mom." Anakin says to the lady that walked in.

"Hidoe!" Jar Jar greets the woman while R2 lets out a little beep in greeting.

"I'm Qui-Gon Jinn." Qui-Gon introduced himself. "And this is Nova, the gungan is Jar Jar, and the droid is R2-D2."

"It is great to be out of the desert storm right now." I tells her. "Anakin was nice enough to offer us shelter.

"I'm building a droid. You wanna see?" I heard Anakin say to Padmé. Once Padmé nods her head, Anakin says, "Come on! I'll show you Threepio!"

I watched as Anakin lead Padmé into another room, probably the room that the droid was in, while R2 beeped and followed after them.
