Do you believe?

The way things should be.

The next day after that, things became more irritating.

"Dell! Hi there," that transfer student suddenly went towards me which makes everyone startled.

I hate it since I'm getting way too much attention.

As I look away, I saw Jett staring intently at us. Well I wonder if she'll get the wrong idea or not.

I continued reading my book and ignored her.

Starting that day, she started calling out for me every single day. She sat on the chair in front of me and begin to say random stories.

Then, luckily this day she was called out by our adviser. I packed my things, knowing that if she finished talking to our teacher, she'll definitely continue to cling on me. Then as I stood up and grabbed my bag, Jett was in front of me.

"Hey,"

" Oh, hi.." I answered.

" Well.."

She didn't jumped on me today, I wonder if there's something wrong..

" going home??" Jett asked with a hesitant look.

" Yeah,"

" Seems like you two got closer.." I got confused with what she said in a split second. So that means that transfer student bothers her after all.

"Don't get it wrong, we're not.. She's just having her way." I answered and sit at the desk

"I see, is that so."

As I look at her, she still have that has-something-to-say aura. I wonder what keeps her from saying it. She's my one and only friend so ofcourse I want to help her out.

"Is there something you want to say?"

"Ah, No.. It's just that you're always together and it's a little bit hard for me to barge in."

Is that really the reason? I guess no, but maybe it's the reason why she can't say what she want to say.

" Hey, whatever happens, I'm still your friend so drop the beans. "

"eh?"

"you're incredibly annoying"

"ah, hehe Is that so.. well you see."

She was about to say something, when suddenly someone jumped behind my back.

Again.

I looked at Jett and she was flustered, I guess she was embarrassed or something but what annoys me more is that this person who's hugging me from behind.

" Hi there! So what are you talking about?"

Jett suddenly looked down and said "Nothing,"  then ran away from us.

Now,

I removed Jay's hands and stood up..

" Can you stop doing those things? Jett was the first one and the only one allowed to do that thing, Please stop bothering me already! It's annoying! "

I unconsciously said those words as I chased for Jett and didn't care about that transfer student.

Then at that day Jett talked to me about her current situation with his boyfriend who she just met through mixer.

He was a university student already and forces Jett to do things she doesn't want to. She told me she can't handle it anymore and that she wants to be get out from it, but she don't know what to do and doesn't have someone who can help her with it.

It felt like I was a total failure to be her friend. That night, I just listened to her story as she cried.

" Sorry, I never noticed it." I said as I took her in my arms.

" No, It's all right, I feel sorry for what I did and said about Jaycee, I guess she didn't really mean to do those things in order to take you away.. I just became possessive. "

"Ah, well she is annoying so I don't really want her clinging around me. It's better this way."

"But,"

"It's all right, she got a lot of friends with the whole class after all."

I'm right,

The next day was a fine day.

The moment I entered the classroom up to the point where I left, she didn't bother talking to me or even look at me.

She was cheerfully, talking with the other girls on her league, those flirty, girly girls.

That's how things should be..

Then a week passed and still, the same thing. It seems like she got closer to that group of girls.

My old life that was taken by her is back and I should be happy right?
