For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, Romance Author Faleena Hopkins copyrighted the word cocky.
YES. You read it right.

Now she is threating to sue those with the word cocky in their titles and she has already gotten at least 2 books taken down on Amazon- these books predated hers.
There's a pettition and everything!
**disclaimer- I am just letting you guys know what I have heard and seen through social media, I have no knowledge of the inner workings of copyrighting of anything like that, and I only know the one side, I have no clue as to what Faleena's side is (regardless of my many attempts to contact her via all her social media sites, I think she's ingoring me). **
