" We're looking for a purple mushroom and some rich gold sap from a light blue tree ". Amy walked next to Sonic listing off the items they needed.

Sonic turned his head towards Amy's arching his eyebrow. " Uh Huh...so when are we going to find this between now or never-this isn't some type of fan fiction were anything can happen just because we're just some video game characters that's supposed to be shown on Cartoon Network every Saturday".

Amy stopped walking and looked at Sonic surprised. " Uh..where did that come from"?

Sonic stopped walking as well and turned around looking at her while scratching the back of his head. " I don't know..it just..came to me..like it was actually true".

" Uh Huh..Yeah..aaaannnyywwwaaayyy let's look for the purple mushroom first". Amy stared walking again leading the way.

20 minutes and a make out session later

After awhile Sonic and Amy made it to a dark cave. Sonic walked closer to the cave and poked his head inside. Not even two seconds later Sonic let out a " manly " scream and backed up holding his nose.

" It smells like Knuckles lifting station when he's finished his workout session"! Sonics face looked green and it looked like he was going to puke ( Which he did ).

Amy rolled her eyes and looked at some paper that was in her pocket. " The mushroom is called a spoof mushroom".

Sonic came back from behind a tree after throwing up today's breakfast..and than threw up his lunch after seeing his breakfast no longer in his stomach.

He won't be eating chili dogs any time soon after seeing what it looks like no longer in his body.

" Why do they call it the spoof mushroom ". Sonic stopped right in front of Amy.

" They call it that because of its horrid smell..there found in caves and when endangered they release a very...unpleasant smell..just like your breath so don't think about kissing me".

Sonic rolled his eyes and than looked at the cave. " How the heck do we get inside if all I did was put my head in and I threw up".

" I brought us some masks if that will help". Amy pulled out two masks and handed one to Sonic.

" Great now I'm going to be smelling like a spoof for the rest of the day". Sonic put the oxygen mask on.

" Hey be happy, I heard it's great for the fur" Amy put her mask on walking towards the cave.

" Fabulous so I'll have smooth fur and smell like spoiled milk that was sitting in the sun for days..enlightening".

They both walked into the cave " It's super dark". Sonic tried to see what was infront of him but tripped and took a tumble.

Amy gasped hearing him shriek and pushed a button and her outfit lit up illuminating the area.

Amy looked around for Sonic and she found him upside down being held by a rope from the ceiling.

Amy started to laugh " I also forgot to mention that the people used to love the Spoof so they tried to protect it so this place it laced with traps".

Sonic rolled his eyes " Now she tells me when I'm hanging from the ceiling".

Amy giggled and used the rocks that were around him to help untie him. When she did Sonic feel head first to the ground groaning in pain.

" First you people injure my nose and now my head-you people just want me to die quicker huh". Sonic started rubbing his head which had a bump starting to grow on it.

" You wouldn't be in pain if you were fast enough to move away from a door and fast enough to land on your feet". Amy walked deeper in the cave with a surprised Sonic behind him.

" That's cold Ames.very cold".

5 minutes later

" are you sure the mushrooms are in this cave Amy"?

" Yes Sonic they are ".

" I don't know about that we've been walking for awhile and I don't see anything".

" For the 30th time Sonic YES"!

Sonic started to slow down a little bit " Ok ok yeesh I was just asking".

" Than ask something else Sonic because I'm getting tired of you asking the same question"!

" Ok Ok I'll ask something else".

" Did your research say the mushrooms were in this cave"?

" Oh my gosh Sonic"!
