SonAmy Boom: 5 Days

Chapter- 4

•Amy•

Amy was still storming off in a fit of rage. "That idiot!" Amy thought as she wiped tears away from her face. "Why can't he just...understand?" Amy sniffed as tears continued to fall down her face. "He's a hero, he's supposed to be here for other people! I-I just can't..."

Amy's tears which had stopped for a second, quickly came rushing back as she began to sob again.
"Amy!"

Amy turned around and saw Sticks running towards her. Amy quickly wiped her tears away and forced a smile to appear on her face. Sticks finally caught up, immediately she saw through her friends fake smile. "Come on," she said to Amy. "Let's go to my place."

Amy reluctantly followed her friend to her burrow. Sticks and Amy sat down on the floor, Amy was completely silent. Sticks looked up at Amy with a gentle expression. "Amy, what happened?" She asked her.
Sticks stroked Amy's hair. "I'm sorry, Amy." She started saying. "Sonic is reckless, he doesn't think about the future, but he cares for you. He wouldn't have done it if he didn't care-"

"WHY DOES HE HAVE TO CARE ABOUT ME NOW?!" Amy cried loudly. "Why couldn't he have... have cared for me before all this? H-He is so selfish!" Amy bawled out in pain. "Amy! You don't really believe that do you?" Sticks asked her in shock. Amy calmed herself down and looked up at Sticks with hurt, empty eyes.
"No... I'm just... so sad and angry. I don't want to ruin these last few days I have with him, but whenever I'm around him all I can think is that I'm the reason he's going to die."

Sticks rubbed her back in an attempt to comfort her. "Do you want to be alone?" Sticks asked Amy after a moment of silence. Amy nodded and rubbed her nose with her arm. "I'll take you home." Sticks said and offered to help Amy up. Amy handed Sticks her hand and stood up. "Thank you, Sticks."
"No problem, Amy. The voices in my head always tell me how to help my friends."

•Sonic POV•

Sonic was walking to his hut as he heard loud footsteps coming from behind him. He turned to see Knuckles bounding towards him, and Tails flying close behind him. "Hey guys-"
"Sonic!" Knuckles interrupted him angrily. "Woah, what's got your gloves in a knot?" Sonic asked him. "You need to go talk to Amy, right now!" Knuckles yelled at him. Sonic sighed and kicked the dirt beneath his feet. "She doesn't want to see me right now, I sorta plucked a few of her nerves." He explained to Knuckles.

"She needs you, Sonic." Tails chimed in. "She needs you to talk to her. You need to have an actual conversation with her. No screaming or yelling, but you need to."
"I guess I could try... But how do you guys know what's been going on between Amy and I?" A red blush appeared on both of their faces. "Uh... W-We guessed on everything!" Knuckles yelled out nervously. "Call it friendly intuition!" Tails smiled as he and Knuckles both began to leave.
Sonic stared after them until they were out of his sight. "How am I going to get Amy to not yell at me? I simply say 'hi' and she's having a tantrum!" Sonic continued on his way to his house. "I'll go in a little bit, like I said- I don't think either of us want to talk right now."
Sonic continued walking, he had never noticed how beautiful the scenery was when he was running. The bright colors of the flowers, the different colors and shades of green all popped out at him now.

"How am I going to be able to say goodbye to my friends and my home?" Sonic asked himself outloud as he continued to stare at the secret world around him. He stared at it as if it were the last time he would ever see it again.
•Amy's POV•

She was finally back at her own home, she had a tub of ice cream in her hand, while she sat in an actual bathtub full of relaxing bath-bombs. She finally was feeling relaxed, but she also was starting to feel guilty. "I should apologize to Sonic, I did cause quite a scene back there..."
Amy took a big bite out of her ice cream and dipped her head under the water. She blew out of her nose and caused bubbles to erupt underneath her face. "How am I going to tell him I'm sorry? I'm sure he doesn't want to see me. I'm such a loudmouth... I embarrassed him so badly."
Amy covered her face with her hands, accidentally letting her ice cream float around in the tub. Amy decided that as soon as she was dressed and dried off, she'd go to Sonic's to apologize and make amends. "Then we can continue where we left off!" Amy pushed the thought of Sonic's death to the back of her mind. "I can worry about that later!"
Amy jumped out of the tub, forgetting to drain it, and leaving the ice cream floating, still. She rushed to get ready, she didn't wear anything special or fancy, but she did try to look her best.

As she was beginning to leave, her doorbell went off. "Coming!" Amy shouted and she ran towards the door.

There, in front of Amy, was Sonic wearing a tuxedo and holding various pink and red flowers.

"Uh... H-Hey... Amy."
