Chapter - 7

• Sonic POV •

I woke to the smell of something magnificent coming from the kitchen. I jumped out of the bed and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and brush my quills. Since I came over so often most of my stuff is over here.

You'd think I'd have a lot of stuff at Tails house but all I have is extra sports tape, tooth brush, tooth paste, a comb, and an extra bandanna.

Since you know I don't wear clothes, I don't really have a lot of possessions to leave at his house. Unless you count the brown jacket I wear to very formal attire places. You know I should really go and grab that it's been in his house for about a month now.

After I finished I walked down the hallway to see Tails in the kitchen making breakfast. "Hey lil buddy what are you cooking up today?" Tails turned around with a spatula in his hand smiling.

"Just some bacon, eggs, and pancakes nothing special."

After awhile Tails finished cooking and he passed me a plate of food. After I put on the desired toppings for my food I dug in.

"This is great buddy you can be a chef." Tails looked up at Sonic while swallowing a piece of bacon. " Nah I'll never beat Dave with his cooking at Meh Burger".

I stared at Tails and he stared at me after awhile we both burst out laughing. "Ha nice one, man. I don't even think meh burger has real meat."

As they were laughing a loud knock came from the door. Before Tails could say come in or even try to answer the door a buff and tall red echidna busted through the door.

"Hello there guys!" Knuckles walked up to the chair by Sonic and sat down. "I just came to warn you all that were all coming over later on to play volleyball if your up to it."

Tails than snapped his fingers making me look at him. "Oh yeah...I forgot all about that."

"Sorry you two but I'm not going." I than got up walking towards the door. Before I could open it the door busted open hitting me in the nose knocking me to the wall.

"Ow!" I rubbed my nose and looked up to see a brown badger. "What was that for Sticks? What's with people and not knocking these days?!"

"Sorry Sonic I just came to ask Tails for all of his wood."

"Why would you want my wood you live in a forest there's wood all around you." Tails walked towards his fireplace and picked up a small stack of wood.

"Easy! it's for the tuorns " Sticks took the wood from Tails. Everyone looked at her weirdly. I than looked at Knuckles to see him about to open his mouth. "Knuckles don't ask Sticks what she means or-"

"What's a tuorns?"

"And he asked anyway." I groaned while getting up still holding my nose.

"Tuorns are wild beast that lives in the woods looking for healthy and nice wood for them to eat, so if I catch one I can auction them to the aliens that live underground so I don't have to worry about my house blowing up."

"So to sum it all up another crazy conspiracy theory...how charming-just take the wood sticks and do what you have to." Sticks smiled and ran towards the door and busts it open only to hit Sonic on the nose again since he never moved from his spot.

"OW WHAT IS THIS LETS HIT SONIC ON THE NOSE DAY"! Tails chuckled and went to help Sonic up.

"It's probably karma for not wanting to play volleyball with us." Tails helped Sonic up and went to go get him some ice. "Or he could have bad luck just like I had once." Knuckles stood up and walked towards the couch.

"That was skill Knuckles not bad luck."

"Than I guess you have a lot of skill with getting hit by the door."

"Shut up Knuckles." Tails finished putting the ice in a bag and rapped it up with a cloth. "I got the ice for your nose Sonic." I smiled as Tails walked towards with the ice in his hand.

"Thanks little buddy I really need-" The door than slammed open hitting Sonic on the nose again. "OW!"

"Sorry I dropped something in your house." Sticks walked towards where she was standing when she first walked in making the door close.

She picked up her item and than walked towards the door slamming it open again while hitting Sonic again and the door closed again.

"OOOOOWWW!"

"Um..heh maybe you should move away from the door?" I looked up at Knuckles glaring "You don't say?"

"But I did say that."
