Chapter Seven

I stare into Brendon's eyes. I smile awkwardly. Brendon leans in slowly and I meet him half way. Our lips touch and I felt an electric shock when they touch. I feel him smile in the kiss. His lips were soft and comfortable. They were like kissing a pillow. He pulls away. "Wow." Brendon said. "Wow." I replied. We kissed again. I rest my forehead on his and our breath mingles. "It's crazy that it's only been a few days since we've known each other and I want to take you home with me." Brendon said. "You know I can't go to California with you." I say. "I know. I just really don't want to leave you." Brendon says. "I know Bren." I say. Brendon laughed softly at my nickname I gave him. Brendon and I stand up. "I want to go walk around the mall." I say. "Okay, lets go then." Brendon said. We leave my apartment and make our way to Brendon's car. We drive to the mall. We park and make our way into the mall. We walk around. Brendon grabs my hand and interweaves them together. We walk into Hot Topic. "Look at these bracelets." I say. Brendon looks at them. They said Player 1 and Player 2. "This reminds me of the time we played Mario Kart together." Brendon said. He picked them up. "I'm getting them." He said. "Wait, you don't have to." I say. "But I want to." He said. We walk to check out and Brendon pays for them. We leave Hot Topic and put the bracelets on. I got Player 1 and Brendon got Player 2. We decide to go back to my apartment. We hang out for a while until Brendon has to leave. Lora was home by this point. "You guys are so cute together." Lora said. I nudge her. "Stop it. We're just friends." I say. "Yeah, friends who dead ass kissed on the floor." Lora says. "It happens all the time." I say. "No hell it doesn't, Rye!" Lora said. "I'm going to my room." I say. I walk to my room and lay down on my bed. I hear Lora's door close and her lights flick off. She was probably going to sleep. My phone buzzed.

Brendon: Hey

Me: Hey

Brendon: Wrud?

Me: Hiding under the covers because I'm cold.

Brendon: Do you want me to come over so I can warm you up?

Me: No, you don't have to. It's midnight. Plus, I don't want you to get out of your comfortable bed.

Brendon: I'm sleeping on a rock. The bed is so uncomfortable.

Me: I want you over but Lora is asleep.

Brendon: I will be quiet.

Me: Fine, but text me when you get here so we don't wake Lora.

Brendon: Okay, I'll be there in a few.

Me: Okay

I wait for a few minutes and stare at my phone. I had butterflies. This was the first time Brendon would be in my room. Gizmo was sleeping at the foot of my bed. He was making whining noises and twitching. I was very nervous. I wasn't going to let anything happen, but just the thought made me feel excitement for some reason. A few minutes later my phone buzzed. I jumped.

Brendon: I'm here.

Me: Okay be there in a minute

I get out of my bed and unlock the door and let Brendon in. "Hey," I say. "Hi," Brendon said. We walk to my room. Gizmo woke up. He yawned and made a noise. I lay down on my bed and Brendon sits beside me. "You have a nice room." Brendon said. "Thanks." I say. "If you're cold then why aren't you under your covers?" Brendon asked. I roll my eyes and get under the covers. Gizmo lays down on my feet. Brendon wraps his arms around me. I snuggle up close to him. He smelled like cologne. I liked his smell and this is the way he always smells. Brendon was singing softly. He was singing Girls/Girls/Boys. I sing along with him. I felt his heart start to pound. His heartbeat was calming to me. Him holding me was the best feeling I had ever experienced. I hear quiet snores coming from Brendon. I smile and begin to doze off myself.

Hey! I say hey at the beginning of every author's note. I should say something else like potato or something. Anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying the story. I decided to make the story 15 chapters instead of 10. I love you guys so much!
