Veronica's POV

When Vanessa asked us if we thought she was selfish I almost fell off of my comfy chair. Why would she think that?!?

"Cause not," Tobias and I said in unison.

"Why would you think that," I asked puzzled.

Her face fell, she shrugged it off and looked down as if she didn't believe us.

This was when I was really concerned. I'll talk to her later.

After that, Nessa only briefly glanced up every time a question was addressed to her, but nothing more.

I needed answers.

Tobias' POV

We finished shooting the video and cleaned up after an hour.

Right after I sat on the couch I received a message from an unknown number.

Unknown: I'd stay away from the Twins you know. Veronica and Vanessa are suicidal you shouldn't even step close to Vanessa. She made Roni feel jealous of her. Veronica felt as though she was Vanessa's shadow and Vanessa didn't even notice. It hurt seeing her like that...

I was shocked. Are Veronica and Vanessa really suicidal? I mean Veronica did have scars, but she said she stopped and I don't even know about Vanessa. I got to ask them.

"Veronica, May I speak to you and Vanessa?"

"I mean you can speak with me, Vanessa went out to get some Starbucks."

"Oh that's fine. I'll just get straight to the point. Do you feel like you are Vanessa's shadow?"

Veronica's POV

I was taken aback. How does he know about this? I mean if I were honest I used to feel like Nessa's shadow, but right after she told me everything those feelings instantly changed.

In her eyes I am in the spot light, in her eyes I am the better twin, in her eyes she is my shadow, in her eyes she lives for me, in her eyes I am her best friend, and in her eyes I am her everything.

She values me more than herself, and she cares for me when she doesn't even care about her own health.

She believes that my life is worth more than her own.

"Not anymore."

Vanessa's POV

I took a sip of my bitter black coffee. I used to not be able to stand this stuff but here I am actually drinking a cup of it.

When I got back to Tobias' house both him and Roni gave me weird looks.

"I thought you didn't like bitter coffee."

I shrugged it off and then Tobias said something that made me freeze.

"Are you suicidal?"

" Not anymore," I said partially lying taking another sip of coffee. I haven't cut myself in weeks.

"Can I try," Roni asked pointing at my coffee.

"Go for it," I said while handing her the cup.

She took a sip and her face instantly morphed into a disgusted face.

"This is so bitter to the point were it's not even good."

I shrugged taking it back.

*Ding

Someone texted me. I slipped my phone out of my back pocket and I frowned seeing the message. The message said Do us all a favor and kill yourself!!!

"Nessa what did that message say?"

"Here just take it," I said handing them the phone I felt dizzy so I sat down a few feet away from them.

They began reading the two messages with stunned faces.

Suddenly, as I attempted to take another sip of coffee Tobias hugged me.

I was hesitant, but I eventually hugged back while burying my face into his shoulder.

"I can't believe she actually sent you that," Roni said worried.

"Honestly it's nothing to worry about," I whispered.

Tobias' POV

If I were honest I was worried. I was worried about losing Vanessa. I couldn't afford to lose someone else in the same why. I couldn't help, but hug her. Vanessa's eyes were kind of dull today and according to Veronica she usually orders a Venti passion tea with 2 pumps raspberry, 2 pumps classic, berry juice instead of water with no berries, and light ice and would never think of getting bitter black coffee instead.

For some reason being this close to her made my heart flutter. Then I felt jealous of every guy that's ever hugged her because for this short moment she held my world and became it.

Thinking that she might be harming herself made my heart ache because she is beautiful; not just in her face or her body, but her soul and the way she laughs, the why her eyes used to light up, and how pure gold she is.

Boom there it is he be falling for her. But the real question is who did Tobias lose? And should Roni break Div and hers friendship?
