Vanessa's POV

I felt something move next to me.

"Nessa...", said Roni in a sleepy voice.

"Yeah?"

"Are you Ok?"

"I'm fine, just go back to sleep."

"You don't seem fine, just tell me what's on your mind."

"I was just thinking that my best dreams and worst nightmares have the same people in them. I find that quite interesting", I mumble.

"Honestly I don't think you should be thinking about this to much because I've noticed you haven't been sleeping well. You seem stressed out."

"Little more than stressed", I whispered barley audible, but Roni seemed to understand.

"Well maybe you should talk to me about it."

"Yeah I think I'll do that. Well first off I kind of feel useless after my wrist injury as if I'm not doing anything productive."

"It's ok, it wasn't your fault", she said kindly.

I turned away and ended up looking at the clock.

"Enough of that, please just go back to sleep", I said

"I'll go to bed only if you do."

"Fine, just for you."

Veronica's Dream

I was overwhelmed by joy. Aaron and I were walking on the beach with a beautiful sunset. Nessa and Tobias were right behind us and Nessa had a grin on her face. I was glad that she was happy I haven't seen her smile for what felt like years. My attention went back to Aaron and as I looked back he pecked my lips. All I felt was my face turn red and him chuckling.

"You're cute when you're flustered."

That statement only made my face even redder. Then I heard a yelp from behind.

Nessa was on the ground groaning while Tobias laughed.

"What happened?"

"She was too haha too destructed because she was staring into my eyes and haha and she tripped", he said in between laughs.

"It isn't funny", she said while running towards the ocean.

I could feel a breeze coming and Nessa was standing at the edge of the water with her arms outward as if she was about to fly with a smile on her face. Seeing her happy made me happy.

Vanessa's Dream

I was on a roof and all I could see was Roni about to be thrown off by a person with icy blue eyes and blonde hair. He snickered and Roni was thrown. Thoughts rushed through my head as I jumped. I somehow managed to throw her into Tobias' direction. He caught her in his trembling hands. "At least she's safe, her life matters more", I say in my head. I looked behind me to see the hard concrete getting closer and I closed my eyes feeling one last breeze until my doom. At least I got to achieve something in life...Feeling free and being able to fly for a bit.
