Veronica's POV

"I should break ties with Div," I said.

"I don't think you should," Nessa whispered.

"Why not?!? She's hurting you!"

"I'm saying this because she genuinely cares about you and she just wants to eliminate the person that makes you unhappy," She said laughing bitterly.

My eyes started to get watery, why would she think that?

"Nessa you make me happier than anyone else."

"Not as happy as Aaron does," she said while breaking Tobias' embrace.

I couldn't even respond I was shocked.

"Honestly it's ok," she whispered as she patted my head. "I'm going out I'll be back in a bit."

"Be safe," Tobias said.

Vanessa's POV

I needed a break, I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't know where I was going, but I just walked, I wanted to feel free again.

I was stuck in thought when someone pulled me into an alley way. When I looked up I saw Div.

I was about to speak up, but her fist collided with my jaw before I could say anything.

I lightly touched the spot that stung and thought, I deserve this. Each time she hit me she whispered a reason.

"This is for hurting Roni." Kick.

"For talking to Tobias." Punch.

She hit me until I was almost unconscious and ran away.

I laid on the ground bleeding, but I didn't care, out of all feelings I shouldn't be feeling I felt happy.

After a few minutes I heard footsteps and I saw Aaron with a friend walk past. They did a double take as they saw me.

"Nessa is that you," asked Aaron.

"Yeah," I managed to let out.

He quickly ran to me followed by his friend he picked me up in a bridal style and told his friend something. I couldn't hear and my vision blurred. Then everything went black.

Aaron's POV

I quickly ran to Roni's house with my buddy Nixon.

I was quietly panicking, but I have to get her home or else Veronica will be worried.
