A couple of hours later Vanessa and Veronica decided to leave Tobias' house.

When they both entered the house their parents and their dog Tiger greeted them.

"Hey girls," their dad Paul said.

"How was your stay at your friend's house?" Their mom Wendy said.

"It was great!"

"We're glad to hear."

Veronica's POV

Home sweet home. After all, that has happened it's good to be home, don't get me wrong Tobias' house is nice and all but there's nothing better than home.

As soon as I laid down on Nessa's bed I got a text, it was from Aaron.

Aaron: Hey Roni👋🏻

Roni: Hejo, Mr.

Aaron: I was wondering if you're free later on?

Roni: Yup I'm free, do you need anything?

Aaron: No I don't, it's just that I wanted to go out on a date with you, well if that's okay with you.

Before answering I stopped to think. Do I want to accept or no? I like Aaron a lot, he's perfect and that's why I don't want to ruin anything.

For a quick second I looked up to see Nessa was giving me a weird look.

"What?" I questioned.

"You look like in deep thought because a message, what does it say?" She asked.

"Aaron asked me out and I dunno if I should risk losing him," I say slowly.

"Ah, in that case, I personally think you should yes."

"But what's the reasoning behind it," I asked.

"Well you like him, and even if it doesn't work out you guys will still be best friends. No type of relationship status can destroy the strong bond between you guys," Nessa replied simply.

"Well, I guess that answers it. Also Nessa you give great advice."

"Well duh, I'm awesome," she said while flipping her hair.

"Alright I gotta continue texting Aaron," I said giggling.

"Have fun," She said as she walked out.

Roni: Yeah it's totally fine by me, I thought you'd never ask.

Aaron: Sounds great! I'll be there to pick you up at 4:00 or so.

Roni: I shall see you later than good sir.

Aaron: You too princess

"Time to pick an outfit," I say slightly jumping off Nessa's bed and heading into my room.

I decided to go casual for the outfit. After I got dressed I sat down on the living room couch waiting for Aaron. While waiting Nessa came downstairs looking down, but when she saw me she smiled.

"Hey, Nessa what's up?"

"The ceiling."

"No but seriously what's wrong," I asked seriously.

"It's nothing."

"Please, Nessa tell me," I begged.

"Fine, dad and I got in a fight," she said sadly.

"What why?!?"

"Well it wasn't really a fight he just kinda yelled at me out of nowhere."

"What did he say?"

"He said I was wor-," Nessa started.

*Ding Dong

"Ah that must be Aaron, enjoy your date," Vanessa said while running upstairs.

I sighed and reluctantly opened the door.

Before me was Aaron in a nice button up, styled hair, jeans, and he was also holding a purple rose.

"Hey best friend," he said chuckling while handing me the rose.

"Hey." I say sadly taking the rose.

"What's wrong?"

"Nessa was a bit sad."

"Oh well if you're upset you don't have to go on the date."

"No it's okay I'll go," I say smiling.

"If you say so, let's go on an adventure!" He said grabbing my hand

"Let us."
