Piper smiled. She never loved Lawrence. She liked him as a friend but that was it. That's why she never let him touch her since she didn't want to hug and kiss someone she didn't love. She made him think that she loved him with her superb acting.

Piper looked out of the window at the birds sitting on the tree. Her sight suddenly became blurry and she couldn't see anything

I wonder when the mission's done? I want to leave this sick body

Piper sighed and went to the kitchen to eat her lunch. Lawrence was there cooking happily.

And so their life went on like this for a few weeks. Piper pretend to love him while Lawrence loved her.

Lawrence sat on the hammock with Piper next to him, "I'm so happy that we're together"

"Mmm" Piper smiled while secretly ridiculing him in her head.

"But you can stop pretending" Lawrence said making Piper shocked

"Eh?" Piper was confused

"I might be dense when it comes to love but I'm not stupid. I know how to read people. Piper, I know that my love is one-sided" Lawrence smiled sadly. He had always known. The way she just made a 180 degree turn made Lawrence suspicious.

"I guess my acting has gone rusty" Piper laughed. She never thought that she would be found out so fast.

"I'm still happy. Thanks for at least pretending" Lawrence sighed, "Can't we try for real though?"

"Sorry. I don't like you that way" Piper smiled. She felt like a real b*tch. She definitely knew that she'd soon complete her mission, "But thanks for taking care of me and letting me live a carefree life. You can have this if you want" Piper gave Lawrence one of the rings. She wanted Piper Green to have someone who loved her and the ring was proof. Lawrence took it and held it tightly.

Piper had completed her first mission, she just had to become the b*tch and then she would be done.

[Ah! The b*tch-o-meter is at 90%!!]

Soon...

"I see. But I'll make you love me in our next lives. I promise" Lawrence smiled with tears in his eyes. He knew she was unhealthy ever since they moved in. He asked the doctor and found out the truth

"Try me." Piper only felt how her head started hurting. She wanted to leave this world but her goal was not completed.

I do feel a little sorry towards them, but what can I do?

"Bye..." Piper left the world and her soul flew out from Piper Green's body. The body went cold and fell down towards Lawrence. Lawrence just held the body without saying anything.

Piper soon found herself back at the waiting room. She was back in her body as Piper. The only thing that made her confused was the ring on her finger.

Why is this here? Maybe I was allowed to bring an item?

Piper shrugged.

[Nice done! The next world will be a quite peculiar one so be prepared. Do you wish to learn anything?]

Fighting. I don't want to fall off the railing ever again. It hurt.

[Sure. I'll transport the experience of a few master martial artist to you. This way you'll know everything without having to train]

Piper soon got the knowledge. She waited a few minutes to completely take it in.

I'm sorry if it was too sudden. I tried leaving a few clues here and there but even I think it's sudden. First, Piper never said she loved him. Second, she is a b*tch.
