╳ I knew something was going to happen. Now, we have to journey through a haunted forest and I hate scary things, what if there's spiders?! Sometimes, I wish that Virgil never found that camera. " I am not stepping into that!- ", I shouted until Virgil grabbed my hand and dragged me in. " C'mon Honey, you're gonna be alright. ", He smiled softly and I just held his hand, I never made any eye contact and just looked around this forest. It wasn't as calming and happy as the one we were in before, even Baby didn't fly up to look around; a lot of grey, dead trees stood like statues with spikes, the dirt road was the same brown but it faded into a darker grey from the sidelines. No flowers or sunshine either, it was cloudy and scary, in all honesty..
I completely despised it.
Everyone was quiet and absorbed their surroundings, I adjusted my glasses again and gripped at Virgil's hand. " Are you really that scared? "
" Sort of? I just- don't like it. "
" Look, you aren't the only one that doesn't like it. ", Virgil explained. " I don't like it. Hey, Roman! "
" Yes? "
" Do you like this forest? "
" Absolutely! ", He exclaimed, my eyes widened at his excitement of a deadly forest. " This place is full of possibilities! Who knows what is going to approach us? ", He said with a dramatic voice. " Th-that's something I'd rather not think about. ", I stated, I watched as Roman sighed and turned back to the road with a smile. " What about you Baby? ", Virgil asked. " I hate it. I sorta have a likeness but it's just- I get memories of the place I spent half of my life, let alone it brings happy memories. ", She continued. " I still remember the first time I went into a haunted house, it was with my two brothers. We were so scared, but we kept going and going, endless jump scares made us die of laughter. ", Baby sighed and stopped herself. " S-sorry, I'm rambling. "
" No no, we are in a very accepting environment, besides that was amazing! ", I replied. " I mean- we never knew you had siblings and I like that you're learning to open up to us all. ", I said sweetly, Baby smiled at me and Virgil did too. " You're too sweet, Patton. ", Baby gushed. " It's a condition. ", I joked, she giggled a little before flying upwards, I watched her rise and come back down. " Hey guys! ", Baby yelled, getting our attention. " There's another home down the road! I think we're getting closer. ", Baby stepped onto the ground floor, my mood lifted a bit and Virgil let go of my hand to look at his map. " Huh, yeah your right. "
" Hehe, I know. ", Baby flipped her black hair to the side, Roman laughed and began a conversation with her again. All in all, I was happy that we all got along well, even though we argue sometimes. " Okay, just a little more before we reach Remy and Deceit. ", Virgil called out, we nodded and proceeded to walk. " Hey Baby? ", I questioned, approaching her. " Yeah? What's up, Patton? "
" Do you know Remy and Deceit? "
" Uh- sorta yeah. I guess so. ", She continued. " We used to get along well, I got sent here with them, but we got along so well we forgot about the experiments. Then, this secret agency came outta nowhere. Me, Remy, and Deceit all ran away, they told me to never turn back and I never did. They were probably captured, I was before of course. But they obviously aren't, considering we might find them. "

" Might? "

" They could be dead. ", Baby replied, now I felt bad. " Baby-- "

" No it's okay, I believe their alive. "

" Good, that's good. ", I said calmly, I would rather have them both alive than them dead..

,,

" I thought you said we were close! All we've been doing is following this dirt road! ", Roman belted, Virgil groaned. " Chill, you made through the last forest, I'm sure you'll be fine. ", He looked down at the map, I sighed as Roman continued his complaining and whining. " i miss Logan. ", I muttered, my eyes watered without me noticing, Baby noticed this and shouted at the other two. " GUYS SHUT THE HELL UP!! ", Baby commanded, they all eyed down at me. I turned to see that they've stopped, Virgil approached me. " Honey? Are you okay, you're crying. "

" W-What? ", I touched my face, rubbing my cheeks and feeling a wet touch. " Oh, uh- yeah I'm okay, just a bit emotional. ", I replied softly, I turned back to the road but I didn't hear anything other than my crunching footsteps. " Guys? C'mon lets go- ", I turned around but they were gone. " Haha, v-very funny guys. ", I looked around again.

Nothing but this deadly forest.

" H-Hello?! HELLO?! ", I shouted into the voiles forest, I began running down the path before tripping over myself, my sobbing eyes wept as a shadow stood before me. " Patton, you're okay. ", I adjusted my foggy glasses, I shot my head upward to see..

" l-logan..? "

" Patton. ", Logan replied, sitting on the floor with me. " Sadly enough, I am just a figment of your imagination. Although, I do have a physical presentness, once you wake up. "

" You'll be gone. ", I finished and he nodded, sorrow laced with every word. " Listen, don't grief over me, I wasn't such an importance. Let alone, you seemed to be fine. "

" That was until you left us! ", I shouted again. " I NEVER WANTED YOU TO GO BUT YOU LEFT A-AND I NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO TELL YOU THAT.. ", I paused. " I never got to tell you how much you meant to me. "

" Thanks Patton, I could've wished to hear that from our friends. Roman too. ", Logan sighed, I stared at him trying to capture every single detail, but he looked exactly the same. " You're about to wake up again, the forest made you see me in order for you to believe I'm actually alive. "

" Dangnabit', I was looking forward to just hugging you again! "

" Well Patton, take care of them for me. ", Logan smiled at me. " I'll miss you. "

" Patton!! "

" Patton! "

" Hey Honey. You just ran away but look where you got us to. ", I blinked and looked up at Virgil. " Love, where are we? "

" Our destination. "
