Chapter 26: All I Can Do Is Pretend

"Kaleen!..." Jill shouted "... Pizza's here!"

"I'll be down in a sec!"

I sat lazily on my bed as my eyes keeps scanning everything on my laptop's screen

I've been checking my twitter and as always there are hate messages from some unknown people. I just don't get it, I mean what would they get if they keep sending me hate? It's not like, they'll get Harry from it and besides we haven't confirm publicly that we really are dating and we hadn't got the chance to be seen out and dating together 'cause Harry's still working. I bet I'd receive more hate and death threats if we either reveal that this was all a 'show' or we're truly dating. I'm gonna receive hate anyway whatever we choose might as well get use to it

I know this looks like I'm taking advantage of the fact that Harry undeniably loves me but I'm doing this not only for me but also for him, I mean why not give him what he wants when his been so good to me? All he asks is a chance and what do I know, maybe Harry's right that I should try and open my heart to him and maybe then I could forget Zayn and love Harry instead thus making my life a lot easier and making everyone else happy

I read some of the mentions the 'Directioners' have for me

-Are @KaleenS and @Harry_Styles really together? :P

-I thought it's @KaleenS and @zaynmalik1D not @Harry_Styles but either way she doesn't deserve any of them!

I kinda felt numb while reading all of it but the last one punched a large hole in my chest

It kinda rings the truth; I don't deserve either one of them. Harry's just too good and so is Zayn but I'll try my best to deserve Harry, if I could be one. I'll stop hoping for Zayn and start giving Harry what he deserves and then maybe all of this won't be a just 'show' after all

I turn my laptop off and went down

"Jill?" I called out

"I'm in the kitchen" she shouted back

I found Jill sitting on one of the bar stools by the kitchen counter, munching a slice of pizza

She place a plate with a slice of pizza on the seat opposite of hers

I sat down in front of her and started nibbling on my pizza

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Jill asks me

"Yup... I'm really excited to see Harry again" I replied looking at Jill, who was starring at her plate

"Yeah... Me too.." she whispered

My eyes widen at what I just heard and she seem to be as surprise as me at what she just said "What?!"

"Um-.. It's n-.. I mean.. The boys and Zayn" she stuttered blushing deep red

I stared at Jill and she can't look back at me, her eyes keeps looking away

I know she likes Harry but I always thought of that just as a harmless little crush, I never thought that it was something more until now...

To think of it, when I recount all of the actions Jill has been showing since when we're at The Bahamas... It makes sense. He likes Harry more than I know... But what about Zayn?...
