Melissa and Dottie were close. After Ryland got with June and Blaze and Daniel started to hang out more, Melissa got to spend time with Dottie more. After she informed Dottie and her crew about their alphas, they started to talk and got to know eachother better. 

 After noticing that summer was starting soon, which meant her departure for Starlight was too, Dottie decided to have a girl's night out with Melissa, for all the help she had given to Aphmau's unknown circumstances. So here she was, panicking over what outfit to wear for the night. "What do you mean I have too much blue?!" She asked Daniel and Blaze as they shrugged. "You're wearing blue on blue on blue."  Blaze commented, rolling his eyes like she was supposed to know her mistake. 

She sighed and went back into her closet, deciding on her usual dark denim shorts and blue flannel with a white undershirt. She walked out, brushing some of her blue hair out of her face in frustration. "Well..?" She asked, watching the guys inspect her outfit. "That's the one!" Daniel chirped, a smile on his face while Blaze nodded in approval. She put on her converse and walked out of their shared house and drove to the Maid Cafe. 

She spotted her inside and immediately froze. What was she going to do? She'd only talk to Melissa with the guys around, but with her alone she grew worried. Just, deal with it. She's just a friend. Dottie calmed herself down with some deep inhales and left her car to sheepishly enter the cafe. "Hey Dottie! Over here!" She waved at me and beamed. "Hi Melissa." I said, hugging her and sitting down across from her. As Dottie looked out the window whilst the waiter served some water, she spotted the sunset's beautiful colors. It was 7:30, pretty late for her since her job usually starts at 7am the next morning. 

After zoning out briefly, Dottie looked back at Melissa to see her ordering something. 'What would you like Dot-, I mean Madam..?" The waiter asked, alerting Dottie at the mention of her name. She squinted at the waiters' face, for it was covered weirdly. "A chocolate sweet-sweet fairy-cake please.." She said suspiciously, watching the waiter as they left hurriedly. "What was that about..?" Melissa asked, giggling at Dottie. "Oh, well the waiter just smelled familiar, that's all." She replied shyly, scratching the back of her neck.

"Yeah, you said such a cute name in a menacing tone. It was hilarious!" Melissa laughed again but with Dottie. "Ok, enough with that. I wanted to talk to you about something. Aaron has gotten out of his daily care and is with a personal trainer now, which means we'll have to get to Starlight by tomorrow. I was wondering if you'd like to stay over for the night at my place tonight so we can leave tomorrow morning. Daniel and Blaze decided to pack your bags too. They mentioned your 'horrible fashion sense'..?" Melissa told Dottie, which caused her face to flush.

"I'd love to stay over Melissa. Do you think my fashion sense is bad..?" Dottie peeped as her food was quickly served and the waiter ran off again in a sloppy manner. "No! Blue is a nice color on you." Melissa smiled, chuckling at Dottie being flustered. "Ok, enough with talking. I'm hungry!" Dottie exclaimed, sighing in delight as the two snarfed her food down.

After finishing their food and talking to the suspicious waiter, Dottie followed Melissa home in her car and walked into her glorious house, which housed the Lycans for years upon years. As she looked around in awe, Melissa turned on the TV in her living room and motioned for Dottie to sit next to her. "We're not watching any regular programming." Melissa said as Dottie sat down next to her, a confused expression on her face. 

"You can choose what you want to watch.. On YouTube!" Melissa handed her the remote, causing Dottie to gasp in excitement. "That's so cool! Thank you Melissa!" Dottie immediately searched for the all-too familiar vine playlist, "Vines that cured my depression", and clicked it to start the video. Through the night, they continued to watch vines and memes, dead or not, laughing and giggling their hearts out. Just as the clock struck 12am, they decided to retire for the night and went up to Melissa's room which had a trundle for Dottie to sleep in, (a trundle is another bed under the bed, but it's not a bunk bed. I have on of those  ^-^)

As the night came to a close and they scrolled through their phones, they exchanged some playful glances as they sent out 'streaks' and such. "Y'Know, when I said blue looked good on you, I wasn't joking." Melissa commented, smiling at a blushing Dottie. "T-Thanks Melissa. It's been a really fun night." Dottie grinned, her wolf tail curling up next to her as she laid down. "It always is with you around Dottie..!" Melissa exclaimed turning off the lights and jumping into her bed.
