APHMAU ONE-SHOTS

(HITMAN! AU)

This is just something to occupy y'all while I finish the request and the next chapter for Mystreet Mafia.

I know this is like the thousandth time I've said this - but sorry.

(By the way, this was a scrapped idea for the Aphmau MAFIA AU. There were too many dead ends for this idea so I went with the plantkinq/seathighs/cactusuii version instead lol. I might write a couple more one-shots of this AU.)

Katelyn and "Kawaii~Chan" are hitmen for many powerful men and women in society. When their income starts to slow, they decide to utilize the spare room in their shared apartment and they decide to put an ad up for a roommate. Aphmau gets the ad and decides to move in with the two.

Katelyn sighed at Nana's energetic response to the man. He had given them the task of eliminating one of his co-workers by tomorrow night, which would be easy, if they didn't have a roommate moving in on the same day. Nana had made a quick call and accepted the offer immediately, to Katelyn's dismay.

"Pleasure doing business with you, sir~!"

The man left their apartment and after a couple of seconds, Katelyn decided to voice her anger. "Our roommate is moving in with us tomorrow, Nana! We could be seen-," Nana rolled her eyes and interrupted her literal partner-in-crime. "Not if I can't help it! We'll just draw him in before she comes and hide him in one of our rooms or something." Katelyn slumped her shoulders and gave up before she came up with another idea.

"Wait, what if we just ask her to move in today!" Katelyn smiled and dialed down their roommate's number on her phone, earning a quick answer after about a second or two. "Hello! Aphmau speaking." Katelyn shuddered at Aphmau's loud voice and Nana giggled at her reaction. "Hey Aphmau!, it's Katelyn. Something just came up for tomorrow and we were wondering if you're able to move in all of your stuff by this evening, if it's not too big of an inconvenience." Nana chuckled at Katelyn's sweet tone, one she gave whenever she wanted something. 

"Oh, no can do. My work hours stretch until around 8pm. I'm sorry!" Katelyn and Nana groaned, accepting the fact that they cannot avoid the inevitable. "Ok. We'll see you tomorrow, then. Bye!" Katelyn hung up and grunted in frustration, chucking her phone onto their couch. "It's alright, Katelyn. We'll figure it out. Let's just work on getting this Laurance into our house first, ok?"

Katelyn rolled her eyes and walked over to her computer while Nana went to their kitchen to occupy herself with sweets. She typed in his name and searched the web for any social media accounts before stumbling across his Chirper account. He had tweets addressing some of his friends, but one in specific caught her eye. It showed him posing with a woman at what looked like an office space. 

She checked the caption and felt her heart stop when she read it. "Had a great night, @Aphmau_!" Please don't tell me that that's our roommate. She scrolled down to the replies tab and saw her account, which was accompanied by her profile picture, which was a picture of her posing with another man. "Nana.. We have a big problem!" Nana walked to her and looked at the computer screen, gasping in shock. 

"Oh Irene. Who knew it could get this shitty in life." Nana sighed as she bit into one of the cookies she had baked, sighing in defeat. Katelyn contemplated banging her head on the keyboard or screaming out in frustration, but she decided that none of that would help in the end. They'd have to deal with it the hardest way possible.

It was about an hour before Aphmau was off from work, which meant they had an hour to prepare a plan. After deliberation, they decided to call off the offer. There were too many uncertainties. Before they could inform their employer of the news, he called them first. "Hello. I need to make a couple of changes to your assignment." The man spoke sternly and gave them no chance to intervene or for them to even greet him.
