"There's a new student here." I overheard Granger explain to Potter and Weasley, "She's an orphan."

"Well isn't it nice that Dumbledore took pity on the poor dear." I spat walking toward them, "Did he feel the same pity for you, Granger?" I smiled sweetly at her

She looked at me and glared, "Draco Malfoy. I earned my place here as any other person. What I would be wondering is how you got here. You're obviously a poor student." She smiled sweetly back at me.

"Where is the new girl?" I asked ignoring Granger

"Why should I let you try to corrupt her, Malfoy?" Potter remarked and I rolled my eyes. He thinks he's so special.

"I wasn't asking you, Potter."

"I'm guessing she'd be in Dumbledore's office. Doesn't she need to get her classes, books, and which house she's in?" Weasley piped in

"She won't be housed until dinner. They show the sorting hat to everyone so everyone knows which house she's in." Granger spoke up talking directly to Weasley and Potter, while ignoring me.

"Well Potter. Weasley. Granger. Hope you don't trip on something at dinner. It would be a horrible first impression." I turned and walked away laughing.

My destination?

Dumbledore's office.

By the time I got to his office the new girl was standing next to him and he was telling her which way the main feasting hall was. But his directions were useless, she'd get lost on the first day.

"What you need is a tour guide." He told her when he noticed she still didn't get it at all

I stood nearby smirking slightly.

Dumbledore looked around and then his eyes landed on me, "Draco Malfoy. He shall be your guide." He pointed to me and told the girl to walk over and introduce herself.

She came over, "Hi."

"Hello. You must be the new student." I smirked at myself, way to sound like a teacher Malfoy. Absolutely wonderful.

"Yes I am." She didn't introduce herself

"Would you like a tour?" I asked as politely as I could muster, if I was 'rude' then she'd go straight to Potter and his band of destruction and corruption

"Yes. I was hoping to see as much as I can before the hat sorting. I'd also like to see each house's common room."

A girl who knows exactly what she wants. Beautiful.

"Then off we go. I can't take you to Hufflepuff, Griffindor, or Ravenclaw. I'll have to find some people to take us there." I told her, motioning that she should follow me

She hesitated and then took my arm and linked it with hers, "Let's go."
