Today Felix felt off, he got detention for starting a fight but when he woke up a week later on Monday he received a text. A text from his world, she was staying home sick today.
However, it was odd. To be a day without her by his side it was off. When school ended he rushed home and he can't believe what he just saw. A For Sale sign in front of the house next to his and a car parked.
From where he was down the street he saw the girl that loved the stars, get into the car. Felix ran fast trying to reach her but he stopped when he met her eyes through the rearview mirror.
As she saw him frozen, looking into her eyes through the reflection, he only made it harder for her, "mom lets leave now."
He fell to his knees, he lost his world in such little time as a piece of the structure was taken and now sent down crumbling. She left him and why did she not tell him? He's upset and angry, but you can never stay mad at someone like her.
I smiled sheepishly, "I named this one." She looked at the freckle I was pointing at. "It's named after you."
"That's like the biggest one," she complained, looking over my face from where her head was on my chest.
"It's because you're what is most important to me," I said, she looked cute when she cringed at me.
"I wanna be a small one, do you have anything romantic about a small one?"
"You're short."
"Yah, I feel attacked," she punched my chest and I whined playfully.
"You're just so small and cute I wanna carry you in my pocket."
"Shut up you deflated balloon."
He smiled weakly at the memory, one so vivid. That's when he realized he fell in love without knowing and now that she was gone what could he do.
A tear slipped from her eye as his frame got smaller and smaller. They were the type of friends everyone wanted to be.
I poked at his cheeks counting softly, he watched her with a slight smile, "you can't count them all."
"I know, I just like how different they are from each other. Diverse like snowflakes," I said, smiling at him.
"So then what's your favorite thing about me," he asked. What could she possibly say that could make him smile? "Be honest."
"If I were to name my favorite part it would be the star map scattered across your cheeks. They make you seem like a galaxy waiting to be explored and loved," I said, he smiled at me wrapping his hands around my waist placing a kiss on my head. "What's that for?"
"Loving my world," he said.
"Oh, I think I'm puking," I cried.
"Shut up and go back to sleep," he said, I laughed closing my eyes.
She was going to miss him so much and when she got on that plane she regretted not telling him. Wondering what he was doing now, he laid on his bed with a letter she left him.
He still didn't have the courage to read it. However he opened it which shaky hands and tear stained cheeks, she would hate to see him like this. So he laid in his hammock where he could look at the stars, with a flashlight it unveiled. Opening it and scanned over her gorgeous lady-like handwriting.
Dear Starburst,
Don't cry because I can't be there to wipe your tears. I'm sorry I have to leave you like this, without telling you. I'm really bad at goodbyes and you're someone I never wanted to say goodbye so let's think of this as a see you later.
You're probably curious about where I went, you wouldn't believe it. I'm moving to Korea!!! My mom planned it before I met you but it was just confirmed after I got accepted into JYP. Felix, there was something I wanted to tell you before but didn't have the guts to. Every freckle on your body couldn't add up to how much I love you.
Love,
Stargirl MijaHe wanted to cry but instead, he smiled. Even if he was upset he was happy she tried to reach for the stars even though she was nailed to the ground.
Stargirl, I'll see you in another universe one day.
I'm soft
I actually turned this in for my English assignment and got a C or B on it lol
