chapter 2

Beca's pov.

I'm still standing there, staring at the guy i just killed. I'm not even listening to the girls talking. I look down at my shoe and see blood all over it. I killed him. I killed a human. How could i do that? I could have just knocked him out but i killed him! I'm a murderer. The guy probably had a nice family who are waiting until he comes home. But he will never come home alive. All because of me. What are the bellas going to think of me now? They probably don't want to hang out anymore. I'm going to prison for murder. What have i done!?

Chloe's pov.

I have to agree with stacie. That thing isn't human.

"Is that a zombie? I mean, it looks like a zombie from the walking dead. Is this real?" aubrey says.

She looks suprisingly calm. Stacie looks a little scared but that's logical. I mean, that thing just tried to kill beca! Speaking off, she's really quit. I look at her and see her staring at her shoe. I look down and see that it is covered in blood. Beca starts to shake and i think that she's having a panic attack. I run towards her and turn her around so that she doesn't have to look at the guy anymore. I lift her head up and look into her eyes. I see stacie and aubrey running over.

"Becs, hey becs. Look at me okay? Your fine, just breath." i say.

She closes her eyes and shakes her head. Aubrey takes her arm and we start to lower her until she's sitting on the ground.

"Calm down beca. Your going to pass out if you don't." aubrey says.

Stacie puts a hand on beca's chest to help her. She closes her eyes and after a few minutes calms down.

"There you go sweetheart. Your fine." i say.

Beca nods and opens her eyes again.

"I'm sorry for freaking out. It's just that-"

she cuts herself of and looks back at the guy. I take her head and turn it back around.

"Don't look there becs. It's okay! It was self defence. And that thing wasn't a human." i say.

Beca's pov.

That thing wasn't human?

"W-what do you mean? It's a human." i say.

Aubrey shakes her head and grabs my hand.

"I'm sorry to break it to you, but this is the start off the zombie apocolypse." aubrey says.

I look back at the guy and look at it. It does look like a zombie. I look at aubrey.

"So i didn't kill a human?" i ask.

"Aubrey just told you that we are in a zombie apocolypse and the only thing you care about is if you killed a guy?" stacie asked.

I slowly nod my head and stand up.

"These guys are already dead. Killing them is like giving them mercy." i say.

They all nod and we start to get in the bus. I look at the girls and they are all staring at my shoe.

"I-s that blood?" CR asks.

I look down at my shoe and nod.

"Yeah, but it's not mine. It's from that zombie that tried to bite me." i say.

The girls eyes widen and chloe calms them down.

"Okay, so we may or may not be in a zombie apocolypse. But no worries! I mean, we got some stuff that we can use as weapons and stuff. And we have the bus! So while we are resting one off us can drive." chloe says.

We all agree with her and start coming up with a plan.

Three days later

We made some progress. We came up with an awesome plan. The plan was find a city and loot it. Then go to the forest and hide. I mean, it isn't the best off plans but at least it is something. The city we looted also had a gun shop so we have some guns now aswell. We are deep in the forest when suddenly the bus stops.

"What's going on amy? Why are we stopping?" i ask her.

She sighs and looks at us.

"We are out off gas." she says.

I nod and stand up.

"Pack as much food and water as you can. It looks like we are going on a hike." i say.

All the girls stand up and start to pack there stuff. After half an hour we are all standing outside the bus.

"Let's get going shall we!" chloe says.

We all nod and start to walk deeper into the forest. I'm walking infront off the group while stacie and aubrey are at the back. I didn't realise that chloe walked next to me until she grabbed my hand. I jumped and looked at her.

"Jesus chlo! You scared me." i say.

I hear the girls laughing and shake my head. It's nice to hear them laugh again. I take chloe's hand and start walking.

"Soo why are you walking with me instead off aubrey?" i ask her.

She shrugs and looks at me.

"Your really pretty, you know that?" she said.

I blush and look down. She kisses my cheeck and whispers in my ear.

"Your cute when you blush."

i just shake my head and look around. I stop whdn i notice a deer standing about six feet infront of us.

"Guys, shut up." i whisper.

They all look at the deer and stare at it.

"That's cute." emily says.

I turn around and look at the group.

"Who's ready for dinner?"

After dinner.

We set up our camp because it was getting dark and eat the deer.

"I can't believe that we just ate that dear." emily says.

I shrug and lay down.

"Are you okay beca?" stacie asks.

I shrug again without opening my eyes. My head kind of started hurting an hour before we ate the deer. I hope that i'm not getting sick. Even a cold could kill someone in the apocolypse. I feel someone putting their hand on my forehead and realise that it is chloe when she starts talking.

"Well you don't have a fever. That's a good thing." she says.

I smile and nod.

"I think i'm just tired. Is it okay if i pick last watch?"

i hear the girls saying yes and decide to sleep a little before me and chloe have to stand guard. We came up with the buddy system so that no one has to be alone. Stacie is with aubrey obviously. I think they have a thing for eachother but i'm not sure. Well it doesn't really matter anyway. As long as they are happy it's all good for me.
