chapter 36

Beca's pov.

Jason walks upstairs to do his thing and i turn around to look at chloe.

"Are you mad at me?" i ask her.

Chloe sighs and shakes her head.

"I'm not mad at you. I'm just sad that you didn't tell me." chloe says.

I take her hand and lead her towards our bedroom. We sit down on the bed and i put my head on her shoulder.

"I'm glad that you aren't mad at me. I don't want you to be sad tho. I'm sorry that i didn't tell you. I thought that you woukd try to stop me from going after him." i say.

Chloe sighs again.

"I don't want you to go." chloe says.

I sit up and look at her confused.

"What do you mean?" i ask her.

Chloe looks at me.

"Did you really think that i was okay with you going to jake and try to kill him in his own base where there are hundreds of guards trained to kill you?" chloe says.

I look down and shake my head. Ofcourse she isn't okay with that. I wouldn't be okay with it if chloe was the one going. Chloe puts her hand on my shoulder.

"And i'm not going to allow you to kill him. You are not a murderer." chloe says.

"I killed walkers. What's the difference?" i ask chloe.

"What's the difference? Walkers are animals in a human form. Jake is an actual human! Killing what's already dead isn't killing. Jake isn't dead." chloe says.

Not yet atleast. He will be dead once i see him.

"He might aswell be dead. The guy doesn't have a heart." i tell chloe.

She just hugs me.

"I hope that jason can contact that girl." chloe says.

I nod and close my eyes while chloe is still holding me. I hope that aswell.

Jason's pov.

I close my eyes once i'm on the bed and focuse. I need to look for a girl with a silver necklace. Not that there are a lot of people out there. After looking around for two minutes, i found her asleep in a tree. I only can find them when they are asleep so i guess i got lucky. I focus on getting inside of her head and after a minute i'm in. Once that i'm in someone's dream it's like i'm really there. I am standing and i can feel and smell everything around me. The girl looks around confused until she sees me. She looks like she's only fifteen years old.

"Who are you?" the girl asks.

I smile and walk towards her.

"Hy there! The name is jason. Who are you?" i ask her.

I smile at her.

"I'm mindy. Am i dreaming or something like that?" mindy asks confused.

I laugh a little.

"Something like that. I'm a dreamwalker. I walk into people their dreams." i say.

Mindy laughs a little.

"So why did you decide to walk into my dream?" mindy asks.

I sit down and watch how she also sits down.

"Do you know someone called hailee mitchel?" i ask mindy.

Mindy her eyes widen a little and then nod.

"Yeah, i know her. Is she okay?" mindy asks.

I smile and nod.

"She's safe. She asked me to contact you because we need help. She said that you were the perfect person to help us." i say.

"What do you need my help with?" mindy asks.

"To take down my evil brother." i say with a laugh.

Mindy also laughs.

"Alright, who is your brother?" mindy asks.

"My brother is jake. You probably know him."

mindy looks down and nods.

"Give me your location and i'm coming. I want to take jake down." mindy says.

I nod and give her our location.

Emily's pov.

I sit down next to hailee and look at her. We are the only ones in the kitchen right now. Hailee is really cute. I know that she's only fifteen but i'm only seventeen! Two years is the difference. Beca and chloe are three years. I really  like her. I think i might have a crush on her.

"You're staring." hailee says with a smirk.

I blush and look down.

"I'm sorry." i say.

I look up and see her shrug.

"I don't mind you staring at me." she says.

I raise my eyebrow and smile.

"Well, that's good to know. Guess i can stare more often now." i say.

Hailee looks at me and nods.

"You can do that. But it would only be fair if i could stare back then." hailee says.

I laugh a little and nod.

"I don't mind you staring at me."

i repeat her words and she laughs a little while shaking her head.

"So why did you decide to come and sit next to me?" hailee asks.

I shrug.

"I just wanted to see how you are doing." i say.

"I'm doing fine, thanks." hailee says.

"Do you think that jason can contact her?" hailee asks me.

I smile and nod.

"He is the only one who can. I'm pretty sure that he can contact her tho. She needs to be asleep tho. Let's hope that she is sleeping." i say.

Hailee smiles and nods.

"Where do i actually sleep?" hailee asks.

"Ohw! You can sleep with me. I got the tiny room with only one bed, but the bed fits two people. You can sleep with me." i say.

Hailee blushes a little and then nods.

"Sounds good to me." hailee says.

Jake's pov.

Where are they hiding! They aren't back at there litlle cabin and i don't know where to look for them anymore! I look up when i hear someone knocking on the door.

"Come in!" i say.

The door opens and i guard walks in.

"Sir, we checked the camera's and found out that your brother and his friend helpes the subject and her friends escape. He also took his friend his sister with them." the guard says.

I nod and tell him to leave. So my brother helped them huh? Now i know where they are hiding. Soon i will have the subject back again. And i won't give any mercy to that readheaded girl either! I will win. I always win!
