chapter 21

Chloe's pov.

I watch how jake leaves and look back at beca. My eyes start to fill with tears but i try to hold them in. Why is she always unconcious? Why her? She has bruises all over her arms and legs. She also has some bruises on her face. She has a busted lip and there is some dried blood under her nose. She also has a lot of cuts. Some of them stopped bleeding, but others are so big that they stil are bleeding. We all sit in silence watching beca when the door opens again. A young girl walks in and starts to clean beca's cuts. What suprises me is how gentle she is with her. The girl looks around for a moment and then smiles. She turns towards us while wrapping beca's leg in a bandage.

"There are no camera's here. They won't here or see me talking then." the girl says.

After that she is done cleaning beca she stands up and looks at us.

"I'm sorry that jake is doing this. If i could stop him then i would. Not everyone here is as bad as you think. Some of us where in your position once." the girl says with a sad smile.

"Where you a prisoner once?" i ask the girl.

She nods.

"I was. We were with three people here. Me, my brother and his best friend. They expiremented on the two of them. For some reason they left me alone." the girl says.

"What happend to the boys?" stacie asks.

The girl looks at her.

"Jake let my friend go. The expirement that they used him for didn't work. It did something else to him. They didn't want to let my brother go tho. They told me that i could go but i wanted my brother to be free. The expirement kind of worked on him, but they rushed it. They didn't give it the time that it needed. I asked them to let them go and to take me instead. They were short on doctors and i know a little bit of it so they accepted. That's how the boys got away. They swore that they were going to come and get me tho." the girl says.

She opens her mouth to say something but beca started to groan.

Beca's pov.

I groan and start to open my eyes. I look around and notice a girl standing next to me on my left side. I looked around the room and looked at all the girls.

"You guys okay?" i asked them in a weak voice.

"I think that you better ask yourself that. You took quite a beating. I see that jake didn't hold back. You must have pissed him off." the girl says.

I look at her and then at chloe, silently asking who she is.

"Oh, she fixed you up. She was a prisoner but offerd jake to work for him if he let her friends go. That's why she is here." chloe says.

I have to say that there is something different about her. I do not get the enemy vibe from her. I think that we can trust her. I look up at her and smile.

"That's a brave thing to do." i tell her.

She smiles and shrugs.

"You would do the same." she says.

I smile and nod. I really would.

"What's your name?" i ask her.

"My name is alison. I already know your names. They make sure that we all know. In case that you decide to try and break out." alison says.

That sounds logical. I close my eyes for a second and start to think about the stuff that happend. I'm not the first one. They did this before. What happend to the others? I open my eyes and look at alison again.

"What happend to the other prisoners?" i ask her.

She looks down for a moment and then sits down.

"If the expirement didn't have an effect then they let you stay here and work for them. If something happend but it wasn't what they wanted then they let you go. And if it failed but your still alive then they lock you in cages." alison says.

"Why do they lock you in cages then?" stacie asks.

"If the expirement failed but you survived then you aren't human anymore. You become a zombie 99% of the time. And not just a normal zombie. They basicly create new zombies in here. I've seen a lot off them. You have the night howler, those are really active during the day. You have the baby steps, those are really tiny. There body starts to get smaller and smaller until you are the size of a baby. And then you have godzilla. It's basicly a giant walker." alison says.

A giant walker? Like the one from my dream? There is no way that i dreamt about the godzilla when i didn't even know there was a thing like that. I thought that there were only two types of walkers. The normal ones and the sprinters.

"I have to go now. If i stay here for too long then thy will get suspicious. I will see you guys later i hope." alison says while walking away.

Jake's pov.

I hope that beca is already awake. I want to get started on the redhead. I mean, i could already start. I just think that it would be more fun if she was awake to see me do it. I stand up and walk towards there room. I see alison walking out off it.

"Alison, it's been a while! How are you?" i ask her.

She looks at me and smiles a little.

"I'm good sir. Just done with cleaning the subject her wounds. Is there anything else i can do for you?" alison asks me.

I smile and shake my head.

"No, you can go back to the med bay. I will call you when i need you." i say.

Alison nods and turns around to walk away.

"Ohw, alison?" i say.

She stops walking and turns around.

"Yes sir?" she says.

"Is the subject awake?" i ask her.

Alison nods.

"She is, sir." she says.

I smile and nod. This will be fun!
