chapter 34

Beca's pov.

I'm still watching scoobie doo when aubrey suddenly yells that dinner is ready. I feel chloe pulling away and standing up but i'm still watching the tv. If i had to choose between food or scoobie doo, then i will go for scoobie doo without even thinking about it! Chloe suddenly turns the tv off and i look at her while pouting a little.

"I was watching that!" i say.

Emily and hailee chuckle. I turn around and glare at them. I see emily pulling her arm back from hailee her shoulders and frown. Does she have a crush on emily? That would be cute.

"Let's go grab a bite to eat and then we can watch some cartoons again." chloe says.

I look at her and smile.

"After your training!" max says.

I look at him.

"I don't care if you still are mad at me or not. You need to controle your powers. You remember the agreement right?" max asks.

Of course i remember it. We need to kill jake. Now that i know what he did to my mom. I need my revenge. He didn't only take my mom, he also took my little sister her mom. I don't know if she knows that mom is dead. I don't want to be the one to tell her. It should be me tho.

"We will train as soon as we are done eating. Is that good for you?" i ask max.

He nods and goes in the kitchen. I follow him and notice that the rest also follows us.

Chloe's pov.

What agreement did he talk about? Something is off about it. I can feel it. What if he is forcing her to do something? It doesn't really look like she is forced to do anything tho. She even looked excited to do it. Maybe he manipulated her? Making it sound like a good idea. She would be up to it then. Or maybe max didn't do anything. He can't be that bad. I don't even know why i think of him as a bad guy.

"Are you okay, chlo?"

i look at my right and see beca looking at me. She looks concerned.

I smile and nod.

"Yeah, just a little tired." i tell her.

It isn't really a lie. I am pretty tired. Beca smiles.

"I can tell max that we can't train today. We can go to bed early." beca says.

"You don't have to do that. You can go train if you want. Hailee can come with you guys. I'll just go and relaxe a little." i tell her.

She thinks for a moment.

"Are you sure?" she asks me.

I smile and nod.

"Your sister will be glad that you asked her to watch." i tell her.

She smiles and looks at hailee.

"Ey hails." she says.

Hailee stops eating and looks up.

"Yeah?" she asks.

"Do you want to watch me train? Chloe said that there has to be at least one person watching us." beca says.

Hailee smiles.

"I would love too! Are you coming aswell emily?" hailee asks emily.

She turns her head a little and looks at hailee.

"Why not. We can talk while they are training then." emily says with a shrug.

Hailee her smile grows and she starts to eat again.

Hailee's pov.

I help the girls clean up before i run outside towards emily, beca and max.

"There you are. You know that you didn't have to help right? We all have our own jobs. We made sure that everyone was comfortable with the job." emily says.

I shrug and sit down. Emily sits down next me and we watch how beca and max stretch.

"I just wanted to help. I don't have a job yet. What is your job?" i ask emily.

She looks at me.

"My job is guard. Me, beca, stacie and lily are the guards. We go on runs and check to make sure that we have all the suplies that we need. And we make sure that the rest are safe." emily says.

I look at beca and max again and notice that they are getting in a fighting stance.

"Does she realise that he is a werewolf. A normal human can't beat that." i say.

Emily laughs and pats my shoulder.

"Honey, beca isn't a normal human being." she says.

I look at her confused. What does she mean?

"We were captured by jake about a week ago. He did something to her. Injected her with something. She got powers out off that. She's crazy strong. She also can controle air." emily says.

Jake captured her? Why did he do that? I look up just in time to see them starting the fight.

Beca's pov.

I look into max his golden eyes. He decided to only turn halfly into a werewolf. His hair around his face and arm are longer and his teeth are a lot sharper just  like his nails.

"You ready?" he asks.

I look at him and nod. I can take him down. I'm strong aswell. Max runs towards me and i run towards him. He tries to punch my face but i duck and kick him in his stomach. He takes a step back and rolls his shoulders back. He starts to slowly circle around me and i decide to do the same.

"I'm glad that you still want to continue. I thought that you were going to let me go alone because you are mad." max says.

I know what he is trying to do. He's trying to distract me so he can take me down. He knows that he can't just take me down. I would get hurt badly. Chloe would make sure that we never train again if that happens.

"I still want to take jake down." i say. He smiles a little.

"And i'm not that mad anymore. I kind of understand." i say.

He stops circeling around me and looks at me.

"Really!?" he asks with a smile.

I tackle him to the ground and smirk.

"No. I just wanted to take you down." i say with a shrug.

I hear hailee cheering and smile at her.
