The Dragon Princess (Hiccup x reader)

Dragon Island part 2

Toothless PoV-

The monsterous nightmare moved out of the way to reveal another nightfury. Another nightfury but it was white! We stared at each other for what seemed like ages. Both of us to shocked to believe what we were seeing until a cracking sound got our attention and hiccup's attention. 

Hiccup's PoV-

I heard a cracking sound and the first thing I saw was another nightfury but it was white. Another nightfury! "Guys look another nightfury." "Wow that's amazing hiccup," said Fishlegs. "What should we name it," says Snotlout. " Well I found the island so i should get to name the nightfury," exclaimed tuffnut. "Hey that's not fair," screamed Ruffnut. "Hey guys, look at what toothless and the nightfury are looking at," said Astrid. We all turned and looked at what the nightfury was looking at. There standing on the beach looking terrified of us was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She had long h/c and gorgeous e/c eyes. No! stop it hiccup focus, find out why she is here. 

I stepped out from behind toothless and made my way over to the girl but the nightfury stood in between me and the girl. The nightfury must be the girl's dragon I thought. The night fury growled at me. I said to the nightfury "don't worry we aren't going to hurt you or her." I put my hand out to the nightfury's head but the nightfury growled more and went to bite my hand. Toothless then came over to me and growled at the nightfury. 

I turned to the girl and said " Hi, I'm Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third chief of berk my friends are Astrid Hofferson, Fishlegs Ingerman, Snoutlout Jorgensen and Ruffnut and Tuffnut Thornton ( I pointed to each of my friends when I said their name) and my nightfury is called toothless, we are not here to harm you." 

The girl just looked at me. I carried on " please could you tell your nightfury and the other dragons that we mean no harm." She still didn't answer me and continued to look at the me. "Hiccup I don't think she can talk because if you look at her clothing it is different to ours and all of the dragons are giving you death glares which suggests that she has lived here all her life," said Fishlegs. I take a look at her clothing and turn to see all of the dragons are like Fishlegs said giving me death glares. " You maybe right fishlegs." "Her flower crown must symbolise that like you hiccup she is the chief or cheifess of this island," says Astrid. " But why does she look afraid of us?" asks Snoutlout. " because she has probably not come into contact with humans before Snoutlout and has only got the dragons view on humans as she is not trying to attack us like they are," says Fishlegs. "If that is true how are we supposed to get her to trust us and get the dragons to back down," asks Tuffnut. "I honestly don't know tuffnut," I say. 

The girl then bends down to the nightfury and the nightfury growls and grunts to tell her something then the girl growls and grunts back to the nightfury. Me and the gang along with our dragons all look at each after what we have just seen. I turn back to the girl and say "Wait a minute can you speak dragonese!?" The girl nods her head ever so slightly. "Snoutlout, Fishlegs go back to berk and bring my mother here now," I ordered. Snoutlout and fishlegs fly off and the nightfury orders some dragons to go back into the forest. "Hiccup what is your plan?" Astrid asks me. "Well the girl can understand us but doesn't know how to talk to us in our language only dragonese and my mother speaks dragonese roughly from being in her sanctuary for 20 years so when she gets here she can hopefully translate for us and we can communicate with the girl. "That's an amazing idea hiccup," says Ruffnut. "Thanks"

 I just hope it works because if it's true that this girl really has lived her whole life with dragons she will have so much knowledge on them that we can add to our book of dragons. 

Y/N PoV-

The guy hiccup that is the leader I'm guessing is talking to me but I don't know how to answer him in a language he will understand. He and his friends don't look mean and they did drop all of their weapons. Moonlight then tells me off for coming out of the bush. I tell her sorry but say there's another nightfury your not the only one. She just shrugs to say she's over it when I can tell she isn't. 

I look back at hiccup and notice he has gorgeous auburn hair, amazing forest green eyes and a cute scar on the side of his chin. Stop it Y/N he could kill you and all of your dragons for all you know. He could be tricking you. Suddenly, he sends two of his friends away to get someone else that speaks dragonese. If this person they bring really does speak dragonese I will finally be able to talk to another human. Yay! Moonlight notices my excitement and hits me with her tail to remind me to stay focus and be prepared for them to attack. 

However, I can't help but think that they won't and I can't wait for the other person who speaks dragonese to get here!
