The Dragon Princess (Hiccup x reader)

To Berk?

Hiccup PoV- 

After what seemed like ages Snoutlout and Fishlegs finally returned to the island with my mother. Whilst they were gone toothless kept trying to talk to the other nightfury but she was either ignoring him or not taking any notice. The girl however just kept staring at me, the twins and Astrid. I can't believe that she may have not seen another human before.

 " Hiccup, Snoutlout and Fishlegs said you need my help," asked my mother. "Yes look we have found another nightfury but it's rider and chiefess of this island only speaks dragonese so she can't communicate with us so can you talk to her to get her to trust us and stop her dragons attacking us." " I will try hiccup but you know my dragonese is a little rusty," said my mom. 

Valka PoV-

I stepped forward to the girl and the nightfury growled at me. I looked at the girl my she was a lovely young lady. I started by saying " hello dear, my name is Valka. My son is hiccup chief or berk. We are not here to harm you or your dragons. What is your name?" All of the dragons turn to me and look at me in amazement that I can speak dragonese like thier chiefess can.  She steps a little bit forward ingnoring her nightfury's protests. She is now stood right in front of me.

 I look at hiccup and he is amazed that I have already got her this close to me. "Hi, I can't believe you can talk dragonese, you are the only other human I have ever spoken too. I don't have a real name but because I can speak dragonese the dragons here call me the dragon princess," she said. " Oh your majesty," I say. I tell hiccup and the others what she has just told me and we all bow. This seems to make her nightfury more comfortable and she calls more dragons back. "Have you lived on this island your whole life? And if I may ask want is your nightfury called?" i ask her. She replies by saying "yes I have lived on this island all my life. This island is called dragon island and my female nightfury is called moonlight. I'm sorry for her rude behaviour but she can be a bit stubborn and the only humans she has ever seen were attacking and killing dragons." "That's a a lovely name for a nightfury and you don't have to worry about us because we live on an island we're humans and dragons live together in harmony. Can I ask why your nightfury is white and not black like toothless which is hiccup's nightfury?"  She giggles and says " I can't believe you live on an island with humans and dragons it must be amazing and all female nightfurys are white and all male nightfurys are black."  Wow that's amazing. 

During mine and the dragon princess conversation her nightfury moonlight told all the dragons to stand down and go back into the forest. I turn to hiccup and the others and tell them everything that me and the dragon princess were talking about. "Yes another new piece of information about nightfurys," says Fishlegs. "Mom can you ask her if she wants to come back with us to berk," says hiccup. As he was saying that the girl shock her head vigorously. 

Y/N- 

I would so love to go to their island to see dragons and humans living in harmony but I can't. I am needed here. I shake my head telling them that I can't . Hiccup says "why not, you'll love it there." I still shake my head. Wait if I can trust them about dragons and that I can speak dragonese maybe I can trust them about my healing power. Yes and that will explain to them why I can't leave the island. I turn around, looking to the forest  and motion for them to follow me. Me and moonlight walk back into the forest towards our cave. 

Hiccup PoV- 

I'm sad the girl doesn't want to come back to berk with us because I would love to get to know her more. She turns and motions for us to follow her into the forest. "Come on gang, lets go and she were she is taking us." We run after her, I try to go and stand next to her but moonlight stops me. I don't think she full trusts us yet. She leads us out of the forest to a mountain wall that has lots of caves that dragons are sleeping in. She walks to the middle cave and sits outside it.

 "Is this wear you live?" I ask. She nods. We all sit down in a circle with the princess in the middle. I was just about to ask her something else when a terrible terror comes screeching in with a baby terror in its mouth. The mother terror places the baby dragon in front of the princess. We all gasp and see that the baby has an injured wing. "Hiccup the baby terror will not ever be able to fly with that wing," says Fishlegs. "I know Fishlegs," I reply sadly. The princess picks up a f/c flower. "Flowers? Are we have a funeral for the baby already." asks Tuffnut. 

The princess shakes her head and puts her finger to her lips to tell tuffnut to be quiet. "Oh you just got told," says Snotlout. The princess glares at him. He shuts up. The princess that holds the flower over the injury on the baby terror and puts her other hand above the flower and makes circular motions. The flower starts glowing. While glowing the petals fall into the injury one by one making the injury glow. When the last petal fell into the injury the injury was fully healed. I am in shock.

Y/N-

Once I finish healing the baby terror it's mother thanks me and they fly off. I look up to see hiccup and his friends all staring at me in shock. I giggle. " Is that why you won't leave your island?" the blonde haired girl asks me which I think is called Astrid. I nod. " but it's an amazing gift, you could travel the whole archipelago healing dragons," says hiccup. I get up and shrug and start to walk away. But hiccup gently places his hand on my arm and says "wait please come with us to berk, you can come back here anytime I promise." I think about it for a little and turn to look to moonlight who has softened  up about the dragons but hiccup and his friends not so much. 

I finally turn back to hiccup and nod. He says " Yes, Oh are going to love it on berk." I grab his arm to get his attention back and say " you can't tell anyone about my healing power." Forgetting that he doesn't speak dragonese. He turns to his mother and she tells him what I said. "Don't worry we won't tell anyone will we gang." The gang all say "no". Toothless starts jumping up and with excitement that moonlight will be coming back to berk. I quickly run back into my cave and bring out a small blunt sword that I made for myself when I was younger but never used. Hiccup looks at it and says "don't worry you can get a new one on berk." I mount moonlight and the others mount thier dragons. "Dragon riders to berk," hiccup states. "To berk," they reply. 

I can't wait until we get to berk!
