Arriving At Berk

A few hours later-

Hiccup's PoV-

We have been flying for a few hours now. We should see berk any minute. The twins, Snoutlout and fishlegs keep bombarding the princess by asking her lots of questions. Snoutlout trying to get her to go out with him. The twins trying to get her to talk and arguing about who will get her to talk first and fishlegs asking her about dragons. I turn my head to tell them off for asking so many questions but I never did because her long h/c hair was blowing in the wind and her e/c eyes were shining with hope and happiness of feeling free. I was taken back to reality but toothless arching his back so he nudged me. I told the guys to stop bothering the princess. She smiled at me in relief. I smiled back. Astrid flew so she and Stormfly were next to the princess and moonlight. "Don't worry I will stop them from bothering you again." The princess smiled at Astrid to show her appreciation. Something tells me that they are going to be great friends.

I turn my head back around so I am now back facing forward. Toothless looks up at me as if to say you like her don't you. "No toothless I don't" he looks at me to say yeah right. My mum flys next to me and says "I know." "You know what?" I question. "That you have a crush on the princess." I blush slightly, not you too mum. "Berk ahead," shouts Astrid. Thank you Astrid.

Y/N-

I am so happy to be flying with moonlight. I feel so free. There is one thing that is making me feel uncomfortable though. The twins, Snoutlout and Fishlegs are asking me loads of questions. Do they not remember I can't answer them back. As nice as I'm sure they are I wish they would be quiet. "Guys stop bothering the princess." Finally thank you hiccup. I smile at him to show my thanks. He smiles back. I love when he smiles, his whole face just lights up and he is so cute. Astrid brings me out of my trace by saying to me that she will stop the others asking me questions. I smile to her to show my thanks. I have worked out that smiling for now is the best way I can show them my appreciation. Astrid flys closer to me and whispers in my ear "you like hiccup don't you. Yeah I like hiccup but I like you and the others as well I think. I shrug my shoulders. She giggles and says "I know you like like him as in you have a crush on him." i don't know what a crush is Astrid I think. I shrug again. She sighs "I will talk to you about this later." I nod still confused on what she is talking about.

Astrid's PoV-

I noticed that hiccup turned to look at the princess and couldn't take his eyes off of her. And when they smiled at each other I could tell that the princess couldn't take her eyes off of him. It is so obvious that they like each other! I will have to help them get together when we get to berk. Speaking of berk. "Berk ahead." I shout. I look at the princess and her face is a picture of happiness and excitement.

Hiccup's PoV-

As soon as we landed on berk the villagers came running up to us and shouted "ANOTHER NIGHTFURY!" Moonlight started to growl, the princess tried to calm her down. I don't blame her if I was a dragon coming to a new island and I had people surrounding me I would be mad too. "Everyone this is Moonlight a female nightfury and her rider the dragon princess. They will be staying with us on berk for a while so please make them feel welcome." The villagers went back to trying to stroke moonlight. "ENOUGH everyone please give them some space and go back to what you were doing before we arrived." The villagers dispersed. The princess looked at me and smiled. Moonlight came up to me and stroked my hand with her head to say thanks. "No problem moonlight." I think she is warming up to me. "Right gang, I'm going to give the princess a tour of berk and toothless you can give moonlight a tour." Toothless gave me his gummy smile and bounced up and down. The two nightfurys ran off after moonlight asked the princess. "I'm sure the princess would prefer if I gave her a tour of berk." said Snoutlout flirtatiously wrapping an arm around the princess's waist. That made me angry and the princess looked uncomfortable. "No Snotlout you and the rest of the gang can go to the training arena." He didn't move. Astrid pulled Snotlout by the ear and dragged him to the training area with the rest of the gang following. I mouthed a thank you Astrid. She mouthed back your welcome. I turned back to the princess. " you ready?" She nodded.

Time skip-

Hiccup's PoV-

I had shown the princess a lot of berk. The only two places I had left to show her were the forge and my house. She seemed to like berk so far. She would wave at the villagers who said hello and introduced themselves. She is so brave for coming to an unknown island and not being scared. I admire that. We arrived at the forge. "This were you can get a new sword to replace your old one." She nodded. I opened the door and she followed. We were met with swords, shields and metal being thrown all over the place in all directions. The princess grabbed my hand. I felt sparks fly and blood rush to my cheeks when she grabbed my hand. "GOBBER GOBBER!" I shouted. Finally he heard me and the flying objects stopped. The princess still held my hand. "Oh hiya laddie, I didn't see you there. Spitelout has been driving me crazy complaining that he lost his axe and is blaming me so I was looking for it." "That's all right Gobber." He finally noticed the princess. "Oh you got yourself a girlfriend then hiccup, she is very pretty looks like a keeper." I look at him confused until I remember that me and the princess are still holding hands. I blush even more and I let go of her hand. "No Gobber we are just friends, this is the princess of dragons." "Uh huh well hello lassie." She waves. "She has a sword she would like replacing." I hand her sword to Gobber. "Don't worry I can get you a better one, come back tomorrow." "Thanks gobber." The princess waves. "We will be going now." "All right bye laddie and lass." We walk out of the forge.

"There's one more place I would like to show you." She nods. We arrive at my house. "This is my house were I live with my mum and toothless." I open the door for her. She walks in and I follow her. I spot my mum cooking dinner. I was just about to say hi to her when toothless and moonlight come running in and knock me and the princess over. We both fall with me landing on top of her. My legs straddling her and her arms pinned above her head. Our faces inches from each other's. I feel my bulge getting bigger. I blush madly and get off of her quickly, hoping she didn't notice. "I'm so sorry." I stutter while putting my hand out for her. She takes my hand and starts laughing. My mother starts laughing too. I turn to toothless and say " watch out next time bud." He just laughs his dragon laugh at me. The princess speaks dragonese to the dragons. My mother tells me that she is says it's ok to the dragons.

After dinner I notice that the princess starts to yawn. "Time for bed," says my mother. I stand up and head towards the stairs and motion for the princess to follow me. I open the door to my bedroom. "Princess you can sleep in my room." She turns to me and shakes her head. " it's all right I don't mind I will sleep downstairs." She gives me a are you sure look. "Yes it's fine." Toothless leads moonlight to his rock bed and lets her sleep on it. Moonlight licks toothless as a thanks. He smiles at her and leaves the room. The next thing I know the princess has wrapped her arms around my neck and put her head on my shoulder. I hug her back by placing my hands on her waist bringing her closer to me. We hug for a few minutes before we both let go. I know I am blushing. I hope she doesn't notice. My mother comes in and hands the princess some clothes she can use as nightwear and a pair of shoes as she doesn't have any. I say goodnight to the princess and close my bedroom door. I go downstairs and find toothless on the floor sleeping. I take my amour, shoes and shirt off so I am just in my trousers. I lay on the couch. I fall asleep thinking about the princess.

Y/N-

I get changed into the clothes that Valka kindly gave me and climb into Hiccup's bed. I can't believe that he let me sleep in his bed. I couldn't think of a way to show him how grateful I am so I just hugged him. I'm so glad he hugged back. I got this weird feeling when he hugged back. Not a bad feeling but a good one. If I think about it I got that same feeling earlier when I held his hand when I was scared in the forge. I will have to ask Astrid about it tomorrow as she may know. I say goodnight to moonlight in dragonese and fall asleep thinking of hiccup.
