Paarthurnax made it home to his cave safely. He sighed in relief. "That was close." He thought. "Pulse needs to be stopped and fast before he causes far worse trouble in Poketown." He began brainstorming ways to defeat him.
"Pulse is the dark and fire dual type Pokémon" Paarthurnax thought. He walked towards a book set on a tree stump. He picked it up and turned through the pages to a picture of a Houndour. He read...
Houndour:
Weakness: Fighting, Ground, Rock, Water and Fairy
Strong against: Bug, Ghost, Steel, Grass, Psychic, and Ice
Immune to: Psychic
He closed the book and set it down on the tree stump again and began pacing around the cave floor. "So that's it. I'll need to find a Pokémon that's strong enough to defeat Pulse... but he is stronger, far more intelligent and hardly anyone can handle him. Well, it'll take a while but I think I might be getting to something to finally put Pulse to justice."

Meanwhile, before Pokeschool the next morning, A Squirtle rushed over to Paarthurnax once he spotted him. "You must be the bold Charmander that stood up against Pulse yesterday. No wonder why Pulse hasn't bothered to come back to school after you almost got him caught. I am Nami, and you are?"
"Paarthurnax" he replied.
"Paarthurnax! That's a cool name, so you're a Shiny Charmander. My friend is a Shiny Bulbasaur. I'm sure he'll love to meet you!" Nami took Paarthurnax's paw and pulled him to a Shiny Bulbasaur. "This is Carrion." He introduced him.
"Oh hello, who is this Nami?" Carrion asked.
"I'm Paarthurnax" Paarthurnax replied.
"Oh.. Are you the-"
"As a matter of fact he is the Charmander who fought off Pulse" Nami interrupted.
"Wow! You're quite the brave Charmander, Paarthurnax, I never knew anyone would ever try and go near Pulse but the PK Police and almost get him captured" Carrion said.
A Chansey overheard them and approached them. "I just consider him lucky that he didn't get himself killed."
"Yeah, But He didn't." Nami said.
"I'd better watch your back if I were you, you never know when Pulse will come back and attempt to murder you like he did to Officer Sierra and Officer Blitzkreig yesterday. Everyone across Poketown knows about the murders. The Police are devastated of the loss of their companions and want Pulse killed as well." The Chansey told Paarthurnax before walking off.
"Chauncey is a huge baby isn't he?" Nami quietly said jokingly.
"I heard that!" Chauncey shouted.
"What? I didn't say anything" Nami protested.
"Anyway, hopefully we could meet up sometime. We could maybe work as a team to help each other evolve." Nami told Paarthurnax.
"Or we could do something even better and help the police capture outlaws and try and stop the crime in Poketown together" Paarthurnax said.
"That's not a bad idea. I've always wanted to do something about the crime in this town. It gets out of hand quite often." Carrion replied.
"Me too..." Paarthurnax said.
"Me three" Nami added.
"So it's settled then. We'll meet up at my cave home and we'll think of a plan. Maybe one day we could become crime fighters." Paarthurnax replied.
