"Put that Vulpix down" a Pachirisu said to a Haunter.
"I don't think I want to. She's mine!" The Haunter growled.
"She belongs to her mother. Let Amber go! You are under arrest abductor!" The Pachirisu said.
"Abductor? I could have been her father when I was alive. Why do you think I'm an abductor?" he argued.
"Just let Amber go and I'll let you off with a warning, got it?" The Pachirisu spoke.
"Hm... Nah!! She's mine for the taking!" The Haunter stuck his tongue out in response.
"She's not going anywhere with you!" A certain voice ranted.
"What?" The Haunter replied. He turned around to see Paarthurnax, Nami, Carrion, Levina, Thunder and Bolt. "And Who are you simpletons supposed to be?"
"We're The Starter Squad!" Paarthurnax said. "Let the young child go or you'll have to fight us!"
"Yeah, I don't think so... Sorry but I have to go. I don't have time to waste fighting weak Pokémon like you!"
"Weak? I'll show you weak!" Carrion yelled, offended. He used Vine Whip and slapped the Haunter with vines.
The Haunter let go of the Vulpix as she ran off to her Ninetails mother. "You'll pay for that you arrogant children."
The Haunter used Shadow Ball, but the group of Starters easily dodged it.
Paarthurnax was about to attack but a Flamethrower that came out of nowhere struck the Haunter and easily defeated him.
"Aw Mon!!!" Paarthurnax groaned.
A Litten appeared. "What? Did I do something wrong?"
"No, who are you?" Paarthurnax asked.
"I'm Max, and you are?"
"Paarthurnax, And this is my Squad."
"Nice! Say, are you the ones who are looking for Starters?" Max asked.
"Yes, why? Do you want to join?" Paarthurnax asked.
"Oh boy, do I!" He answered with a purr.
"Alright, then. You're in!"
"That was fast" Max said.
"Well you did just defeat a Haunter who tried abducting a Vulpix. So why not?" Paarthurnax replied.
"Fair point!" Max wagged his tail in amusement.
The Pachirisu cleared his throat to get their attention. "Excuse me! I am Officer Charlie! You must be the Starter Squad. Your Squad looks like it's growing fast and it's gotten strong too. I give you the best of luck that your Squad will be a success."
"Thanks, Charlie." The Squad said.
"Well I should go check on Amber and her mother. I hope they'll doing okay. Here! " Charlie threw a set of handcuffs at Paarthurnax, "those are handcuffs specially made for ghost type Pokémon. We'll see ya around!" He then ran off.
"Good luck Charlie!" Max cried out.
Paarthurnax walked towards the defeated Haunter and put the handcuffs on. "You better take these off, kid!" He cried.
"I don't think so... Criminal!" He growled.
"What do we do with him?" Carrion asked.
"We bring him to jail, that's what!" Paarthurnax answered.

Paarthurnax and the Squad made it to the prison and put the Haunter in his special cell where he wouldn't be able to escape by going through the walls.
"I would have gotten away with this if it wasn't for you meddling kids!" He growled. "You realize that there are far more dangerous criminals out there in this town. You won't be able to catch em all alone!" The Haunter began to cackle evilly. "You'll die trying!!!"
"We know, but someone has to do something about the crime in this town" Paarthurnax said.
"And it's going to be us!" Levina replied with a smirk.
"Don't be cocky, SweetChu! There's still Pulse!" The Haunter responded. "And no one has stopped him yet so I doubt you children can!"
"Pfft try us! We'll catch him one way or another" Nami said.
