Chapter 15: mending hearts and figuring shit out

It's been a week since the vacation had ended the morning after that night. I still remember colby asking me repeatedly if I still wanted to be with him.
"Do you even wanna be with me?" He asks as I continue to look down. He grabs my shoulder and I look up with tears in my eyes. "I don't know" I whisper. Colby let's go of my arm and storms into the closet. I wipe my face as he storms back in a few minutes later with his suitcase packed. "Fine, I guess we're done then, I'm going back to Ohio and getting all my stuff then you'll only see me at work" he says. I look into his eyes and I can tell he's about to cry. He leaves the room storming out of the house. I change out of the dress and into Pj's.
Nikki had found me in the room sobbing. She layed with me that night rubbing my back as I cry about colby leaving.
"I didn't think he'd leave" I whisper out fighting back more tears. "I know kat" she whispers rubbing my back. I look up and she cringes "your makeup is everywhere dude" she sighs. I frown and wipe my face "this is so bad I need to leave in the morning". She nods "I'll go with you" she smiles. I nod and hug her. We cuddle up together and fall asleep.
I'm currently sitting in my locker room as I watch raw with puffy eyes. I still haven't stopped crying. I know I basically told him that I didn't know if I wanted to be with him anymore but I'm still hurt. I love him to death and he's so perfect. I just got scared when he talked about marriage. It was never an option with my other relationships. There's a knock on my door "come in" I shout. The door opens and Nikki, Brie, Nattie, charlotte, Becky, Naomi and Bayley walk through with a big bucket of ice cream. I smile and wipe my face again. "Awe sweetie your eyes are so puffy" Nikki pouts sitting next to me. I nod and look down.
We talk for a bit until Nattie pipes in. "I saw colby earlier" she mentions. "Oh Nattie not now" I sigh. "He looks like crap kat" she says. I nod and frown as I continue to dig into the chocolate ice cream.
Colby's point of view
I sit back down at the table with Joe and Jon. "Dude you look like shit" Jon mentions. "Yeah no shit, the only girl I've ever loved told me that she didn't know if she wanted to be with me aby more" I roll my eyes and look at the tv. Jon sighs "she's never had a serious relationship like this colby she could've been scared" Jon tells me. "I can tell by the way she looked at you, there is no way she doesn't love you" he finishes. I nod and sigh " I don't know jon" I look down. " dude I know I said I'd kill you if you hurt my sister but stop being stupid and go get her back" Jon groans slapping me upside the head. I wince and glare at him "if we weren't meant to be we weren't meant to be" I tell him. "God damn it colby you're being fucking stupid" Joe says. I look at him shocked and he points at the door "go get the love of your life back you look and smell like shit" he tells me. I shake my head ignoring them both.
Kat's point of view
"I know you still love him" Becky says. Nikki and Brie nod agreeing with her. The other girls had to go for matches. I sigh and stuff my face with ice cream. "Kat you can't do this every day" Brie said. I frown " fine" I put the ice cream down before there's a giant knock on my locker room door. I stand up and open the door.
"C-colby" I whisper.
