Chapter 20

After a few weeks off I decided to come back with what could be the last chapter. I may or may not do a sequel so if this is the last it's going to be a very very long chapter.

3 and a half months later

I plop onto the couch with a big bowl of popcorn and I turn the tv on. I change the channel to RAW and it's the perfect timing as Colby is walking out with Jon. I smile and rest my hand on my tiny baby bump. Jon and Colby got the tag team titles back shortly after I went out to announce my retirement.

Flashback

I walk out with Colby following behind me as I hold a microphone and the crowd is going wild. Colby helps me into the ring and we stand together holding hands and wait for the crowd to die down a bit. I look at him with a smile then turn to the crowd. " well as you all know a few months ago we lost our baby girl Olivia" I frown looking up then I look back and look into the crowd and see a few female fans with tears running down their faces. I sigh but continue talking " a few weeks ago I was offered a championship match but I had to turn it down" I smile slightly as the fans boo. " now there was a reason that I had to turn that down, as of today I am 12 weeks pregnant" I smile brightly then turn to Colby and he smiles bringing me in for a small kiss. I pull away and start talking again. " now that I am pregnant I am announcing my in ring retirement" I frown and let out a breath as Colby strokes my back. I look around the crowd and see little girls crying. I sigh " but I'll be back to go to the announcement table"

Back

I watch as my soon to be husband and my brother get into the ring to face bray Wyatt and Matt hardy. The match isn't a title match thankfully. I stuff my face with the popcorn as Colby and bray go at it. Colby takes the upper hand making bray layed out in the middle of the ring. I smile and watch Colby jump off of the top rope.

Bray moves and my smile drops as Colby's left knee buckles from underneath him. "Shit!" I stand up and watch as Matt tags in and goes after Jon. Colby rolls out of the ring, the camera zooms in and he looks sore as all hell. I speed into our bedroom and pack a bag. I go back into the living room and it showing Colby going backstage with his knee already swollen. I wait a bit before I dial my phone to call Colby.

Please pick up please pick up

The call goes through and all I hear is deep breathing. " Colby?" I ask. "Yes baby?" He asks back. " I saw the match baby I'm on my way" I tell him. " no baby I'm flying out to you, it's too risky for you" he groans out in pain. I nod and wipe my face of the tears. " okay baby I'll pick you up from the airport just let me know when you catch the flight" I tell him. The only answer I get is a loud scream. I sigh wiping my face some more. " sorry babe they're checking my knee, it's not looking good" he whispers. " you'll be okay Colby, I know it'll heal" I tell him. " I know love, I gotta go baby girl I love you lots, see you when I get home" he says. I smile " I love you too baby" I whisper shortly before hanging up.

I put my bag down and sit back down on the couch. I rest my hand on my bump " I know baby daddy will be home soon" I whisper to my bump.

A few days later

I rest my hand on Colby's shoulder as the doctor walks back into the room to tell us the news on his knee. " well mr. Lopez your knee buckled the same way it did last time, it tore more ligaments than it did last time" he tells us. Colby's lays his head in his hands as I rub his back. " we will have to do surgery but I can't promise you that it'll completely heal like it did last time" he lets out. Colby nods looking up and to me " how long would I have to wait?" He asks. " only a couple days" the doctor says. We both nod " how long do you think it would take him to heal?" I ask the doctor. He sighs " over a year for sure" he smiles pitying us. Colby sighs " I might as well retire" he whispers. I let the tears start flowing as I see tears go down his face. " I would say that if you aren't healed after a year and a half to retire" the doctor says.

Colby shakes his head " no we're starting a family and I want to be there for our baby and my soon to be wife" he says. I shake my head " Colby are you sure?" I ask him. He nods " yeah baby I want to raise our baby and not be on the road all the time" he smiles. I nod and wipe his face " okay if you want that then let's do it" I sigh. He pecks my lips and then nods. " do you want surgery now or after the wedding?" The doctor asks. " after the wedding, we won't be going on a honeymoon because I won't be able to fly" I tell the doctor before Colby could answer. They both nod and I hold Colby's hand.

We leave the doctors office and I drive back to our house. " do you just wanna go to Vegas?" He asks. I look at him and sigh " we'd have to have an actual wedding for our friends and family" I tell him. He nods and smiles " of course babe" he holds my hand as I drive. " when should we go to Vegas?" He asks. I shrug and continue driving back home. He rests his hand on my thigh and I look over at him " how about tomorrow?" He asks. My eyes widen but I nod wanting to get it over with. He grabs my hand kissing the top.  " I love you" he whispers. I blush lightly " I love you too baby" he smiles and pecks my cheek quickly.
