part 20- Aftermath

I took the bus with Jin and Jessica.
It was peaceful and quite.
After all it was 5:15, pretty late.

Inner me: times going by fast these days 😥

I couldn't stop about the play because I was so intrigued and amazed.
Jessica told me "Stop it girl, I wasn't even the lead. If next year they're doing Grease. I'm want to get lead role."
I agreed with her statement. And I wanted her to be lead role, she was perect and amazing to do it. She earns the right to be the lead.
To that I answered "I want to be in a play. I should join drama club."
She told me it wasn't necessary. That as long as I could sing, act and dance, that's all that mattered.

Inner me: I got a chance 😢

We got to her stop. She came off and we all said bye and that we'll see eachother tomorrow.
With that, me and Jin were left on the bus and we headed to our park in our area.

Inner me: area reference 😎

We hungout there for about an hour, just walking and talking.
And yet again it was peaceful and quite.
Hearing the children playing, seeing the old men play chess, feeling the breeze of the wind and sitting on the wooden bench.
It was as if I was 5 years old.
At the park with my grandma.
We'd always go to the park, I'd always play with the kids and get a Fanta/Sprite mixed drink that only cost 1 dollar.

*Thinking about my childhood makes me tear up a bit. The memories flushing back, it hurts.😣
I have personal reasons why it hurts, but I'd rather not get into that. 😊

Jin saw me zoned out and nudged me. I immediately got back to my senses and wiped a tear that was going down my right cheek. He asked me what's wrong. I simply replied with the truth. He understood and hugged me with one arm. I felt comfort.
He expressed himself about my feelings and I couldn't help but snuggled into him chest.
He found me cute by doing that.

Inner me: AHHHH 😆

I felt him giggling, I looked up at him a smacked him on the chest playfully. He looked at me and explained "Hey... what was that for..."
I looked at him with a sturn look. He put his hand up to my face and smiled.
I smiled back.😁

We proceed to walk to my complex. It was normal throughout the whole journey. The buses went back and forth between stations. Cars driving by. People walked by.
I checked my phone and saw that my mom called me a minimum of 2 times. I called her back and told her I was with Jin at the park and that we were heading to my place.
She instantly asked will he join us for dinner. I turned to Jin who had a calm look yet interested. I told my mom to wait and asked "Would you like to join us for dinner?"
With wide-amazed-eyes, Jin answered "Yes, if course."
I told my mom that he accepted and said that we should come by in 20-30 minutes.

Inner me: long ass time 🤔

Jin decided to call his mom and tell her about the dinner. She understood and accepted his stay.

Inner me: G O A L S 😄

We slowly trailed the sidewalk. I was playing the game 'Stepping on the Cracks' which was childish, but even an adult can be a child.

Inner me: 😋🙃 goo goo ga ga 😂

We came to my apartment conplex and entered the building. We went to the elevator and we were lucky enough to have it waiting for us. We got on and I pressed on to the 1st floor button.
We arrived at the 1st floor and I led to my apartment.
I knocked on the door, intending as a sign that we were here, and entered.
Everything was clean and glowing. More bright then normal days.

Inner me: holy sh*t MaGIc 🤤😲

We came into the kitchen where my parents were making something yummy.
The smell filled the whole kitchen and I asked my mom what their doing.
She replied that it was a new recipe.

Inner me: oh no 🤤

In my mind a new recipe could turn out good or can turn out bad.
Thankfully this one turned out good. 😥
My parents made a whole feast.
You had salads, meat and side dishes.
Usually we have feasts on holidays, but this wasn't any holiday.

Inner me: suspicious 🤔

I pulled my mom to the side and asked her why was this necessary, she truthfully answered that her and my dad... AND MY BROTHER, wanted to meet Jin.

Inner me: oh hell no 😲

I really didn't expect that, because this was the first time they acted like this, ALL OF THEM.😦

I went into my room and put down both mine and Jin's belongings. I came out and saw Jin talking with both of my parents.
I went and knocked on my brothers door. He opened it and simply asked "Is your boyfriend here?"
I replied "Yes."
He rushed out and slammed the door behind.

Mind that this boi is 27 years old. Adorable child.🤗

He went out and without hesitation shook Jin's hand and told him who he was and all that jazz.
And whispered to Jin the crucial detail of if he hurt me, my brother would find him and kill him.
To that Jin smiled and said that I was everything to him and that he would never hurt me.

The words easily melted my heart. I was dying in the corner.

Inner me: paradise 😍

We all gathered at the table. I sat next to Jin who was to my right, my brother was next to my mom who were both in front of me and my dad was at the lead of the table in between me and my mom.
We took what we wanted and started to eat.
I took a salad, meat and a side. So did Jin.

Inner me: fat ass foodies 😅

My father took his time and started to ask critical questions.

"How long have you and Sofia been together?"

I answered "Only about a week or so."
He then asked "How do you feel around Sofia?"

I was about to say something when Jin stopped me and answered himself "I feel wonderful and happy around your daughter."
To that my family smiled.
Then came another question which was out of the ordinary "How many girls have you dated?"

Inner me: 🤤😨

I choked a bit and spit my water back into my glass.
Jin truthfully answered "Only your daughter, sir."

I looked at him with shock as I didn't even know that information.

Inner me: we about to learn more huh 🤔😮
