part 21- Dinner

My dad continued with the questions which I took full part in.
"Why my daughter?"
"Becasue she is not afraid of being who she really is. I love het character and everything about her."
As he said that I closed my hand into his.
My dad gave smirks here and there but overall he had a soft look.

After all the conversing my mom asked if anyone wanted tea. All of us agreed upon having a cup.

Inner me: ☕

My mom went into the kitchen and started to prepare the tea. Usually we mixed different teas together,  pretty good.
My brother also took part in some questions.
"How old are you?" "What do you want yo be in the future?" Those type of questions.
Me and Jin answered truthfully.

Inner me: I shall not tell lies 🙏🏻

Coming to conclusion my dad and brother looks sat eachother and smiled, intending that they liked Jin. I smiled becasue I understood.
They looks at him and my dad said "Welcome to the family."

Inner me: 😖 and I'm done

It was very ironic as like you always see that in so many movies. So I didnt bother but elbowed my dad gentle. He chuckled, everyone did.

My mom called me and I cleaned up the plates.
I put them into the sink and took out the tea set, it was a royal blue color with gold engravings. Gifted to us by my grandparents.

Inner me: cute af💕

I have everyone a set; a cup, a little plate and a spoon.
I went and brought the tea and started pouring yo everyone. The smell of blueberry and Jasmine filled the kitchen. It was light and sweet.

Inner me: 😤😤

I went to the fridge and got some ice cubes; I can't drink hot tea, I burn my tongue so easily. I threw some in my cup and who needed took a peice.
Also my parent managed to get a cake and cookies.
I took a peice of cake and a cookie and started to sip on my tea while biting into my cookie.
I recently stopped adding sugar to my tea, so it's pleasant to have a sweet cookie to get rid of the sugar craving.

I drink my tea quickly, yet I don't mind another cup.
We continued to talk about the future and about school and more subjects. It came to the point that I realised that it already close to 9 o'clock.
I told Jin and he didn't seem surprised, he rather looked sad. I asked him what was wrong, he replied he want to stay for longer.
My family overheard and gave out an awe.

Inner me: 😣 precious

My mom instantly blurted out that be could stay over.
I looked at her in shock. Like this happened to me, this shouldn't happen to him.
He smiled and said thank you. He then stood up and called his mom. I heard him speak in Korean to his mom, it was calm.
He came back and said that his mom accepted him to stay.

Inner me: I pray 🙏🏻

I told my mom he could sleep with me.
My dad had an eyebrow up, but I assure him nothing like that would happen.
I'm a true spirt. 😁

We came into my room and I threw Jin and oversized shirt and some shorts.
My brother let him borrow some.
We put our phone on charge and asked eachother about hw.
I had to read and so did he.
We had a little silent reading time.😌

I finished quick and went back onto my phone.
Checked up on my messages and all that.

I found four different people texting me, you could guess who they were.😮

It was Lori and Frances. And Yoongi and Hoseok.🤤

Lori was asking advice about Hoseok.
Hoseok about Lori.
Frances was asking advice and Yoongi.
Yoongi and Frances.

Inner me: ☠

My head was exploding with ties. I simply replied to act natural, to not be so uptight.
It's the only way for people to understand eachother fully.
