"Anouncing Warrior Adeline." The announcer called.
The warrior Adeline walked onto the stage in the middle of the arena. She walked to the center of the stage, behind the podium. She leaned foward and said, "Welcome Arediens to Gledriloth. And welcome to call who call Gledriloth their home. Thank you all for coming to support me after my parent's untimely death. I have reluctantly accepted my parent's former postion. I am your new warrior, Adeline."
As soon as she introduced herself, I raised my bow, and nocked an arrow. I aimed for Adeline, and.................................
Sorry for the teeny tiny chapter, but I wanted a cliffhanger. One of the characters mentioned in passing is the assailant. First to guess gets a dedication!!
