The Sole Protector-

Chapter Ten-

"Aden! You must tell me why you did it. We have been friends since we were young. Why betray me now?"

"I did it because he made me do it. He is a wizard. He cursed me. If I ever tell anyone who did it, I will die."

"Adeline, come with me for a minute. Guard, stay here and make sure he doesn't try to escape."

"William, we need to get this interrogation over ad quickly as we can. Make it quick.

"Are you sure you are up for this. You might be swayed in his favor since he is your friend."

"He just tried to murder me, William! I seriously doubt that I will be able to set him free."

A commotion arose in the interrogation room. I heard Aden start to scream as if he was in pain.

William and I glanced at each other and ran in. Aden was thrashing in his chair with the guard trying to keep him still.

"What happened?!" I screamed.

"I don't know! He just started screaming and tried to get out!"

"Adeline! Look at his eyes. " His eyes were rolled back into his head, and the "whites of his eyes" were red.

"It's like he is possessed. He did say that a wizard cursed him. He might be trying something now."

Aden nodded frantically as if trying to tell me that I was right.

"Are you sure Aden?" I asked him

He nodded again, while letting out an ear piercing screech.

"He wont stop doing that until we kill the wizard that is doing this to him." William told me.

"Aden, where is the wizard?"

"He is in.......glug, glug, glug."

As Aden began to reveal where the wizard was hiding, he began hacking and choking on something unseen.

This went on for some time. Then he passed out on his chair.

I glanced at William apprehensively. He was already staring at me.

"What do we do now?" he asked me.

"I don't know."
