What Am I Hearing?

Katie's POV

I didnt move... did he really just tell me he is gone..? "b-b-but i swear! he was there! now he is going to be more mad then ever.." i started crying. Cody pulled me into his chest. "i cant believe this Cody.. He is going to come back.." i looked up, Cody's eyes were watering "no one is going to lay another finger on you, Kaite" i kissed his cheek . and got up

The police came up to me "katie, the phone you called us on.. do you still have it?" i nodded, as i started to pull it out, it started ringing. my heart dropped. "give it to me real fast, conncet it to the speaker. Katie, when i point say 'hello'"

they connceted it to the speaker and he pointed to me

"hello..?"

the man started to laugh "hmmm. Katie. You didn't let me finish earlier, but dont worry. im coming back. you'll never know where or when i'll get you and next time i get you. You wont have a chance to find your way home, ill kill you"

i started to back up. i was crying i started yelling "NO" i felt arms wrap around me. i turned around , it was Cody. he kissed my head "thats enough!" he yelled.

he hung up before they could track the phone.

"damnit!" the police man said while slamming his hand on the desk. "ok. well you guys better get home. There are police cars all around your house so no one can get in or out"

i walked up to my Aunt "Aunt Mary can Cody stay the night,.. he makes me feel safe" she hugged me "of course sweetie". i walked over to Cody "hey.. my aunt said you could stay the night if you'd like" he smiled "okay, let me go ask" as soon as he walked away..

Kylie walked in.. i heard her ask for me, then the police pointed to me. "hi Katie.. I know we've had problems, but i need to tell you something.."

i was so shocked. Cody came up to me "i can, what is she doing here?" i shurgged my shoulders "kaite.. can we talk alone?" i felt Cody's arm tence . "no, im not lea-" i cut him off "yeah we can,, ill be over there in a minute babe" he kissed me. then walked away

"we both know i dont like you, But i saw you on the news.. i took things to far."

i looked at her "what do you mean?"

she took a step back "i hired a man to threaten you.. i told him to beat you up, he told me he knew who you were . i didnt ask how.. i should have, he only told me his first name, im sorry.."

"w-why would you do that? what was his name? you know i have to tell the police, You'll get in so much trouble..." she nodded "i know, but i had to tell you.. he told him his name was Dan, he never told me his last name, but at the moment i didn't care.."

"d-dan..? thats his name?" i felt like i was getting weak, i guess Kylie noticed. She grabbed me, We both fell to the ground, thats when everyone ran over to us "katie, its okay" i heard over and over by Kylie. I saw Cody push people out of his way "come on babe, we are going home" he picked me up & took me to the car. we were on our way home now

"katie, what did that girl say to you?" My uncle asked me. it took me a while to actually say something "she said that she hired someone to beat me up and send me threats because im dating Cody.. She hired a guy ... his name is Dan.." My Aunt turned around & looked at me "Dan..? Your dad?" i nodded "im not sure.. but it explains everything.." Cody grabbed my hand.. we pulled into the drive way. When they said they have police around the house.. they weren't kidding "ya'll go up stairs, ill make some food" me & cody went up in my room, i got my sweat pants & a bagy tank top & went into the bathroom

"you know.. you dont have to go into the bathroom and change" i laughed, i put my sweat pants on, but my door was cracked. Cody came in "CODY! get out, im in my bra!" he laughed, "hm, i dont care" he came up to me, he put his hand on my bare waist, his hands were cold, so it gave me the chills , he started laughing "i didnt know i gave you the chills" as he said that i put my shirt on. he looked at me. i just smiled. i walked past him and sat on my bed

"so.. its midnight. what do you wanna do?"

"well, i was trying to do something, but you walked away from me" he made a puppy face.

he walked up to me "im sorry, i wont go anywhere this time" i laughed, i stood up. he put his hands on my waist and i put my arms around his neck . our foreheads were touching "i cancelled my tour.." i backed up "what!? why!?" he tried pulling me back "I'm just moving it , so its in the summer! 5 more months no big deal Katie!" i looked at him confused "why the summer?" he came closer to me "so my beautiful girlfriend can come with me.. i cant go 2 or 3 months without seeing you, id go insane,"

i couldn't stop smiling, "awh Cody that's so sweet, but you didn't have too" he smiled back "i know, but i wanted to.. plus we would be leaving in a week and i cant leave you now." i hugged him as tight as i could. "i love you Cody" i pulled away "i love you too Katie" he pulled me as close as i could get & he kissed me . Every time he kisses me i have stand on my tipy toes. No one pulled away, so we started making out, his hands started to move lower and lower, his hands were on my butt. He started walking which made me back up then i fell on the bed. he got on top of me. He started kisses my neck. "hm, Cody.. Not tonight.." he got off. "right, sorry"

i sat up i sighed "no.. don't be, i'm sorry"

"Katie, can i come in?" my aunt was a the door ."of course!" she came in, "me and your uncle are going to the store. your sister is sleeping. we will be right back" i just nodded. & she left.

Cody jumped off the bed. "im gonna go home and get some clothes, ill be right back babe" he kissed me a ran out of the house..

i have the police, nothing will happen. i layed down on my bed and fell asleep. i woke up to the front door opening slowly.. i got up and walked over to the stairs. i got scared so i ran back and hid in my closet. the police would have seen him. but maybe they fell asleep. i heard someone walk up the stairs... they came into my room "Katie!? Where are you!?"

it was just Cody, i opened the door . he was staring at me "sorry.. i got scared." he hugged me "its okay"

i went and layed on the bed again, but i got under the covers. i was about to fall asleep until i felt arms wrap around me, i turned around "goodnight Katie, i love you." i smiled "goodnight, i love you too" he kissed my forehead, then i fell asleep within seconds
