Notice: to tell the truth this was one of the one shots that seemed really fun and smooth to write , I hope you guys enjoy it even if it's quite short
.....

kotobuki reiji.

He was the name of someone very special - and very dear to your heart.

You flip the page in your magazine, catching the blurb of paragraphs that was on the so called idol of Quartet Night. His smile, the twinkle in his eyes , they were all very fit for his image.

During your darkest hours , you began to doubt yourself - in nearly every single aspect. Clothes, appearances, grades, and even the way you talked became mental burdens. Something about the way how others walked , especially with such confidence was both admirable but also something that caused you to seethe in jealousy.

It was the on going onslaught of your thoughts that took away your happiness for a permanent smile.

Things were dark and melancholy then.

Soon you began to feel helpless. As anything you did in the world was not enough. Then you stopped trying and your grades dropped. Things weren't the same.

Until you found Kotobuki Reiji.

Just surfing the internet for some hidden gems, you stumbled upon an idol group called Quartet Night. Sure their songs were catchy, and they were good looking. But the only thing that stood out to you the most was his smile that resembled pure happiness. He looked so happy it almost made you feel happy again.

From then on it was like a domino effect - he was everywhere you could notice him in, television , radio, posters, magazines.

Although you knew of him- you swore to be eternally grateful to him. For his occupation as an idol and reaching out to people - perhaps just like you. Without him, and without your luck of finding his group, there wouldn't be the you now.

He was your definition of the light in the tunnel.

It was the day to the fan meeting- there would be greetings, handshakes and questionnaires along with limited time merchandises. Landing the ticket to get here , you called yourself lucky. With this you would be able to see him in real life.

He was perfect. Well for an idol anyway. It wasn't like you were in love with him. It's more of an admiration sort of attraction.

His smile, his laughter , his appearance- beautiful. You thanked your lucky stars.

When it was your turn you nearly froze.

"Hello." Your voice was barely a whisper.

Maybe he heard or maybe he didn't but he didn't seem to mind and smiled either way.

"Hi. Who should I sign this for?"

"Oh umm, to [Last Name], [First Name]." You twiddled with your fingers.

"It's a cute name." Reiji complimented you probably without even realizing it.

Standing in his presence he already made you extremely happy.

"Thank you for buying our CD."

"Umm yeah the songs are fantastic. I love it." You flashed a genuine smile, because truthfully you were thankful to him.

He was the one who saved you.

As he slowly stretched his hand out, you stretched yours out to receive it. But he suddenly pulled back.

How awkward.

You retracted your hand, looking at him curiously. He didn't say anything, just took the cap out of his pen and scribbled quickly on the back of your CD.

"I forgot to sign." He explained.

You nervously waved your hands, "no, it's fine." You took the CD in your hands and smiled timidly, "thank you! I'm a big fan." You bowed your head, "have a good day, Kotobuki-san."

Your voice squeaked at the end and you could've sworn your cheeks were dying in red,but you were too happy. It got worse when your ears heard his gentle laughter.

"I hope to see you again [Last Name]-chan." He smiled and winked at you.

You nodded your head before you were directed out away from the table because more fans had came.

Looking back timidly at the table, Reiji waved his hand at you in recognition. Then he went back to talking to the fan in front of him.

As you walked out of the doors to the room, you clutched the CD against your chest. A few numbers on the CD hid away due to your fingers.

At that moment you didn't know that he would surely bring you even more happiness.

Hi guys.
I know the ending was sort of meh like almost unrealistic, but I really wanted to create a sweet ending and this is what it came out like.
Hope you guys enjoyed this one shot.
