Chapter 20

— I tried to move on but why did you make it hard for me to do so?

Lee's POV

I woke up to the sound of the alarm and I quickly tapped it off. I let out a yawn and stretched my whole body that was aching a little. I got back home at almost 10 pm last night. Tae practically dragged me and Jimin everywhere just to spend our hangout day really well.

My feet are killing me. But I still need to get up and take a shower.

I forced myself up, tied up my hair into a messy bun and headed to the bathroom for a shower. I locked the door and stood in front of the sink. With a tired eyes, I proceeded to brush my teeth and wash my face. After that, I removed my clothes and dumped it into the laundry basket.

I stepped into the shower and turned on the shower tap, letting the water run along my body. I let out a sigh at the contact of the water with my skin. I cleaned my whole body with a bath shampoo to make sure my skin smells good and the dirt is removed. Then, I washed my body and turned off the tap.

I walked out from the bathroom with a towel around my naked body and headed to my closet to pick a clothes to wear. I wear a simple home outfit since I wasn't planning to get myself out from this house today. I'm just gonna chill.

I walked out from my room and headed to the kitchen for some breakfast. I entered the kitchen and greeted the maids there before sat down at the table. I took a toast and spreaded it with some strawberry jams before taking a bite of it.

As I was enjoying my toast, suddenly someone rang the house bell. I jumped in shock at the sudden sound of the bell. I turned to look at the clock and it was only 9 in the morning. Who would come here anyway? I bet is Jimin or Miso.

"I'll open the door" One of the maid said.

"No need. I'll go" I said before stood up and ran to the door.

"Is it Jimin or Miso?" I asked before opening the door.

As I opened the door, I gasped in shock. There stood Tae with a wide smile he has as he waves his hand at me.

"It's TaeTae!" He beamed before pulling me into a hug.

I was shocked and dumbfounded as he came up here by surprise. I would never thought he would come here anyway. Never have I ever imagine he would show up here in the morning, or anytime. This is weird. What is he up to?

"Lee" He called me, giving me a sweet smile.

My eyes blinked as I just snapped off from my thought, "O-Oh, Tae. What are you doing here? Is Rachel here too?".

He shook his head, "I'm here alone. What are you doing? Are you having breakfast?".

I nodded my head, showing him the toast that I was eating before he came here so suddenly. He looked at my toast and his eyes sparkled.

"Strawberry jams!" He beamed before stealing a bite of my toast.

Everything happened to fast, my mind couldn't process all of this. First, he showed up in front of my house. Second, he hugs me so dearly as I opened the door. Third, he took a bite from my toast.
