Chapter 24

— I thought everything will be fine, but why did you lied and make everything worse?

Lee's POV

I woke up when the clock strikes 6.30 pm. I let out a tired yawn while I stretched my body. I forced myself to sit up on the bed and rubbed my eyes to make my sight better. I looked around the room and saw no sign of Tae.

"He must have gone back" I muttered before turning around to the bedside table.

My eyes landed on a yellow sticky note that was pasted on the glass of water. I took the sticky note and read it.

Don't forget to eat before you eat
your medicines.
Don't skip if you want to
heal from your fever!

I smiled at the note before putting it on the side. I looked at the tray and saw another cup of porridge. I took it and it was still hot. Guess that Tae just went home before I wake up.

I opened the cap and hummed happily at the delicious aroma of the carrot porridge. I took the spoon and stirred it while blowing on it to cool it down.

I took a spoonful of it and blew the steam off. Then, I quickly feed myself with it and munched a little before gulping it down through my dry throat. The hotness of the porridge was enough to make me feel better again.

I took a spoonful of it and another, feeding myself until it was completely empty. No leftover. I put the empty cup and spoon on the tray before taking the water. I gulped down some of it before taking the medicines. I threw the medicines into my mouth before gulping it down along with the water.

I put the empty glass on the tray before letting out a satisfying sigh. I took my phone and quickly search for Tae's number to send him a text.

To: Tae 🌈

Thank you for the porridges and thank you for looking after me. I felt much better now!

I put my phone aside before forcing myself off the bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. I grabbed my towel and headed to the bathroom. I entered the bathroom and closed the door, locking it.

I removed my clothes and dumped it into the laundry basket. Luckily, there is no another blood-stained clothes to wash.

Speaking of that, I just realised that I need to wash my blood-stained bed sheet and clothes. I turned to look for the basin of it but can't find it anywhere. I grew confused.

"I'm sure I put it in here" I talked to myself.

As I tried to look for it, suddenly I felt a blood running down my legs, making me stopped from looking for it more.

"No time for that. Gotta clean up!" I said before heading to the shower.

I turned on the shower tap and quickly wash my body with the water. After cleaning myself, I took some body shampoo and started to rub it all over my body to make body smells better. Then, I washed it off before turning off the tap.

I wiped my body and wrapped the towel on my body. I walked out from the bathroom and headed to the closet to wear my clothes. After wearing some simple clothes for the night, I headed back to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face.
