Chapter 26

— I choose to run away even for a few days, is it a good choice?

Taehyung's POV

"Fuck" I cursed breathily as my chest heaved up and down due to my fast breathing.

I ruffled my hair in frustration as I let out a silent groan. I headed back to the elevator, walking so fast to get back to the car. I hit the button and waited for the door to open. I entered the elevator as soon as it opened and pinched the basement floor button.

I walked out from the elevator and headed straight to my car. I unlocked the car and quickly entered, turning on the engine afterwards. I pulled off from the parking and headed out from the mall.

In my mind, I can't stop thinking of the way to kill Rachel. This is all her fault. Just.. why the fuck she told her that? We are clearly nothing but why she did that?

I stepped on the gas, making the car speeding up more. After almost 20 minutes, I arrived back on my apartment. I parked my car and turned off the engine before quickly got out from the car. I headed up the stairs, skipping some stairs as I was in hurry to talk with Rachel.

I got in front of the door and quickly put in the passcode before harshly open the door.

"Rachel!" I called for her, closing the door behind me and quickly took off my shoes.

I heard running footsteps came from the kitchen. I looked up and saw her running to me. I glared at her in anger, making her stopped on her track.

"Yes, Tae?" She answered.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her with me to the living room before forcing her to sit on the sofa. She was shocked with my sudden anger and looked up to me with a surprised face.

I glared down at her, making her head fell back on her lap. She played with her fingers, maybe scared of facing the angry me. I pinched my eyes closed to avoid myself from yelling or hitting her, because I know I shouldn't do that to a woman.

"What have you said to Lee?" I asked her as calm as I could.

"W-What?" She asked back, trying her best to look clueless but failed.

"Don't try to lie and just tell me what te fuck have you told her?!" I yelled in anger, making her flinched in shock.

I tried my best to stay calm but I guess I can't hold in my anger any longer. I just had to yell in order to make her confess everything that she has told her.

"I-I didn't say anything" She stuttered in fear, body shaking because of my yell earlier.

I let out a frustrating groan and knelt down in front of her. She looked down at me as I looked at her before she turned her gaze away. I pinched my eyes close.

"Tell me, now" I demanded as I kept a fierce glance on her.

She kept her mouth shut, refused to spill everything that she has told Lee. I put my head on my palm before I looked at her again.

"She avoided me for two weeks. She avoided my texts and call and everything. I saw her today with Yoongi hyung and hyung told me they were just hanging out together. I asked her to hangout with me but she didn't reply my text" I explained the situation, frustation built in me.

"I asked her and she told me it was you who met her, telling her about me avoiding you for her. Just tell me, the whole thing you have told her!" I yelled again.

"Yes! Yes, I told her that! I told her you ignored me, left me alone in this apartment by myself while you were having fun out there with her. I was left alone, Tae. Of course I would ask her to not meet you again because I want you to have your attention on me. Not her!" She confessed, eyes teary as her lips quivered.
