Annabeth's pov-
It was night time. Well, I suppose it would be considered seven minutes into the next day, making it the morning. But that is if you wanted to be precise.
It was 12:07 a.m. when the conch shell sounded three times. An attack.
But who would attack this late at night?
Alpha would yell at me for that stupid of a question. It's a sneak attack, obviously.
Somewhere in the distance there was a male scream. He sounded youngish, like a teenager or something. It could be an immortal camper or a mortal camper. Or a soldier I suppose, but they wouldn't scream... right?
"Everybody up! An attack, grab your armer, shields, and weapon, be prepared to get hurt!" I yell, waking everyone up fully.
There was another scream, by the same person. But louder this time, more in pain.
"Move out, move out!" Someone shouted, most likely someone from the Alphas army.
There was some more shuffling before the door burst open.
"You... you... you ruined my life. Now it's time to ruin yours," and than, I was knocked out.
Dragon's (Luke's) pov-
"They're both gone," Hazel mumbled with an obviously shocked expression on her face.
"Our two best fighters..." Piper mumbled.
"No she wasn't a good fighter, only a good strategist," Treasure growled through clenched teeth.
"But we need a strategist," Malcolm said.
"So? There's others, like Athena. We need a commander!" Blondie yelled.
"You have Dragon," Leo yelped.
"Yeah, you guys have me, but Alpha is much better," I said stupidly.
"Still,"
"That was a short battle though," Hazel said thoughtfully.
The ceiling was supposed to burst open with explosives, killing everyone in the room.
But instead, something else happened.
Commander/King Alphas pov-
I wasn't supposed to die that day. Or be captured and held hostage for that matter.
But what was done, was done.
That scream that pierced everybody's ears?
Yeah, that was me.
And now, Gaea was holding against her chest. Kronos with a sword at my neck.
"Perseus, we know who you are. If you move, we will either remove your hood and reveal you to everyone else. Or kill you. So don't move," Kronos hissed in my ear.
"How'd you find out?," I wheezed out, because Gaea was squeezing my chest too hard.
"Just move along towards the ship, they're not coming for you. Like last time," Kronos taunted.
"Why risk their soldiers and campers for only one, replaceable person?" Gaea reasoned.
"Do you remember what you did before we captured you?" Kronos snarled.
"Yea, it was- Annabeth. I hate her so... I remember," I say annoyed.
"Well where did you put her?" Kronos snapped.
"That's for me to know and you to wonder,"
The last thing I saw before I collapsed, was Gaea's beautifully tanned skin, and mocha chocolate hair as she tilted her head back, laughing at my pain.
"You'll tell us eventually, little hero," she purred in the dark.
