Chapter 16- The Drop Dead Gorgeous Second in Command

A/N- Incase you forgot:

And the second in command is not Dragon/Luke. I changed my mind. He's only in command for legion 2.

Commander/King Alpha's pov-

I hate it where I'm being held hostage. It was damp, and cold in here. But I don't mind that part about where I am.

I hated the part about how instead of walls, it was four, huge mirrors.

And Gaea was especially fond of torture. Like, she would use the whole putting-water-in-my-cell-and-electrocuting-me kind of torture. That's why it's so damp in here.

I guess the mirrors were there for me to watch myself get electrocuted in the water, while it happened.

So I'm not quite happy about her choice of torture, cause she is mainly using water, and it's basically just mocking my main power.

I am alone. Nobody else is here. Kronos and Gaea left, who knows how long ago.

Annabeth.
Where are you?

I should know that, after all, I should know where you are. For I linked my soul to yours.

What a shame, she'll feel whatever I feel, physically. She'll get the injuries I get. Annabeth will die if I die. But I won't get hurt or anything if she gets herself hurt or killed.

So over all? She's seriously screwed.

Annabeth's pov-

I heard screaming. Who was screaming? I'm alone.

It's warm and dry here. Where am I? I'm in the middle of nowhere.

I'm burnt and damp. Why do I feel electrocuted? There hasn't been any lightning or children of Zeus around where I am.

What's going on?

Treasure's (Bianca) pov-

"Go fish,"

"Damn it, that must be the 7th time in a row!" Starshade (A/N- Zoë) shouted in frustration.

"I win- again," Dove (A/N: Selena) laughed.

"Shouldn't we be looking for Commander?" I asked.

"Yeah, we are. Carstairs, the second in command, has sent 3 legions out to search for Annabeth and Alpha. Chiron also sent the last of the Seven out to search for the two," Dove said, dealing the cards to everyone playing.

"Carstairs, he pretty much keeps to himself. I don't know him too well," Arrow (A/N: Lee) said thoughtfully.

"I've seen his face before. He is absolutely gorgeous!" Dove exclaimed.

"What does he look like?" I asked curiously. I mean, I want to know if he's my preferred type of looks.

"Oh, beautifully, mysterious silver eyes, that have the cutest shape. Raven black hair, with natural silver highlights, and drop dead gorgeous check bones!" She squealed.

"Oh my gods, is he single?" I gasp, cause he is totally my type and I really want a hot boyfriend.

I sort through my cards searching for matches, while Dove thought about it. Explo (A/N: Beckendorf) was just watching us, trying to detect if his girlfriend, Dove, had feelings for Carstairs, the apparently hot second in command. Arrow was also watching us, but only out of curiosity.

"Yea, I think so. I think he's dating Jessa, that girl in Ravens (A/N: Calypso's) legion," Dove finally said a bit sadly.

Now Explo looked extremely confused with his girlfriend.

"Why are you sad, D? Don't you remember? You're dating me!" Explo said cautiously.

So that last part was a bit of a reference.

Carstairs? Jem, Brother Zachariah, Jain, James?

And Jessa, cause that's Jem's and Tessa's ship name.

It's a tiny reference between Infernal Devices, by Cassandra Clare.

I'm thinking of making Carstairs having a lot of appearances now, because I really love this new guys character. And I know he's just really Jem from TID, but I really love that character!

Anyway, that was a terrible chapter, but I had fun writing it.
