Chapter 18- This Stupid Quest

REMINDER: Piper, Jason, Frank, Blondie [Percy's friend from the army], and Arrow [Lee] were given the quest.

I chose them because I realize that I haven't written about them that much, and I thought it would be too clíchè if it was all Percy's old friends, so I included Blondie.

Piper's pov-

"It's so... humid here," I whined.

Jason only snorted laughter out in return, while Frank turned around.

"At least you didn't ask if we were there yet, again," he said very seriously.

"Oh my gods, do you realize how annoying that is? I mean, I get that this is a long car ride, but JUST SHUT UP!" Arrow shouted, obviously joking, throwing his hands in the air.

"At least it's not Dragon singing the 'The Wheels on the Bus' nonstop on the way here," Blondie said, the rolling his eyes was evident in his annoyed tone.

Arrow giggled, "does that really annoy you that much?"

"OH NO, YOU BETTER N-"

"Oh, the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round! All through town..." and so it continued like that for about ten-twenty minutes before Blondie kicked Arrow in the groin, which shut him up nicely.

"Dude, c'mon now!" Arrow groaned, clutching where he had been kicked.

"Broseph, stop clutching your junk. It's gross and just plain out wrong." Blondie reasoned. "And I kicked you cause you wouldn't shut up!"

I giggled starring at the two Chaos army warriors. Who knew Chaos warriors could be so funny? But I also didn't know they existed, so I really know nothing about them.

Jason's pov-

I drop kicked the hell hound that was speeding towards me and dived for my fallen sword while the monster was distracted. The kick had only gained me a second though, but that was all I needed to get my sword back. Once the hound had quickly regained itself from the moments distraction and was once-again, speeding towards me.

I swung the sword and cut the hell hounds head off, ending the fight. But not without gaining a long, but shallow, gash on my leg.

"Was that the last one?" groaned out Frank, who had just changed back from 'bear' form.

"I think so," Arrow said, counting what arrows he had left.

I turned towards Piper, who was leaning on a tree. "How are you?" I asked concerned.

"I'm fine, other than the fact that we just got attacked by five hell hounds, that came up out of no where," she said a bit flustered.

"At least no ones particularly injured." I say quickly.

Frank just looked away quickly, and Piper held her hand near her chest.

I feel like I ruined this story by having Percy get kidnapped...

Should I delete that part (but put it in deleted scenes) and rewrite it?

Only the part were Percy gets kidnapped and Annabeth goes missing, if rewrite that part tonight or tomorrow.
