Jim Lake x Reader Once Upon A Coma + One Shots

Nightmares

The girl was powerful beyond compare, with untapped potential flowing through her bones. She was the first human Dragon Hunter; and her name was (Y/n). She thought she was always going to have her best friend by her side, no matter what.

Believed that, he would never leave her, or her new friends. But the problem with new friends is that you sometimes forget to interact with your old ones...

2nd POV

"Eli, please talk to me. You know I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong, right?" The girl reasoned with her friend as he paced around his room with a worrie look on his face. He had been growing distant and this worried the girl as she only visited her friend on a handful of occasions, as she lived in a different country.

"You don't understand (Y/n) there's nothing you could have done to help. N o t h i n g a t a l l." The boys voice was cold and harsh and his glasses had a flare of light reflecting off them, making it harder to see the boys eyes.

"Yes I can, I can save you." The girl pleaded as she stared at her friend longingly. Something was shifting in the shadows behind the girl, staring at her with harsh eyes and a look of fire burning in their eyes. As the two teens continued to argue back and forth the room seemed to grow darker, and colder. Almost as though all heat and happiness was being drained at once. This was no longer a memory...

"You suddenly get new powers and new friends, and then you suddenly get up and leave, I wasn't invited to training, you didn't walk home with me, heck you've been neglecting your own father who works all day just to keep you in school. You only think about yourself (Y/n)." This tore the girl up inside as she stared dejectedly at the ground, not even bothering to answer her best friend back. 

"You are no friend to me, dragon hunter. Your pain shall be your downfall, and my triumph." The boy smiled cruelly as the creature that was behind the girl grabbed her and dragged her to the ground. She did not fight or struggle. She felt a horrible pain in her chest, it was almost as though somebody was ripping apart her insides and tearing her souls to the ground. She felt sick and scared and her breaths where becoming shorter as the creatures hands slowly suffocated the girl, the last thing she saw was her amulet being taken from her pocket by the one and only Eli Pepperjack. 

'I wish I'd done better, I took you for granted. And now? I don't have a best friend....

Your POV

I slowly opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling with the pit of my stomach churning, tears stained my pillow and my cheeks where red and puffy. Memories of the dream replaying in my head as I felt myself sink lower and lower into the pain in couldn't explain why it hurt so much, the only think I could think off was how I needed someone anyone to talk too. Sighing I pulled my sleeve over my hand and wiped my eyes and stuffy nose. Sitting up I read my alarm clock : 3:27 in the morning. This was a long shot but oh well.

Jim's girl: Hey Tobias?

'3:30'

Tobster: (Y/n)? What's up? It's like 3 in the morning man.

Jim's girl: I need to talk to somebody whom I trust, yet isn't awkward with me at the moment. So by default you're the perfect candidate.

Tobster: Ok I'm listening.

Jim's girl: oh, where do I begin? I've been having these nightmares about Eli and Urigratsumono? Ugiratmono? And Mono or whatever his name is and this recent one has really gotten to me...

Tobster:.....

'3:40'

Jim's girl: Toby? Hello?

Tobster: listen (Y/n), I'm glad you've decided to talk to somebody about it, and happy that it's me! Cuz I'm awesome and all, but If it really bothers you and you're not getting enough sleep, maybe you should speak to Blinky or Moon, you know for some 'medicine'?

Jim's girl: ok thanks, Tobs, and about you being awesome? Yes, yes you are, my dear friend.

Tobster: awesome sauce! 

Jim's girl: heh, night Toby. Talk to you later.

Tobster: yeah, night (Y/n).

Your POV

Smiling at the conversation I looked down at my clock and sighed, there was no way I was getting back to sleep now or ever, especially  not after a nightmare like that... I would have to see Blinky as he was all book and Potions, where as Moon was more mythology and spells.

And yet I can't help but wonder if what Eli said was right. Was I spending enough time with my friends? Did I have a good balance between Dragon hunter and (Y/n)? It's about time I change, starting with my clothes, before I invite my dad, Barbara (Jim's mom) and Jim himself. We have somethings that need to be discussed....

A/n: Yyayayaya! A new chapter has been posted! I'm actually proud for doing so. Well all I can say about the last season of troll hunters? It's depressing as all hell. I mean I personally had to watch UnBreakable Kimmy Schmidt after because I was crying so much. #No spoilers.

Anyway, this is just a bit of Reader and Toby bonding time as I haven't really allowed the reader to get to know many of the other characters on a personal level. So I'll either do more of there and build the story imbetween with subtle details, or I'll go straight back to the normal stuff and this can be a filler. Up to you. 

Also among other things I was thinking that this book has gotten over 8k reads!! Thank you?!!!!?!?! But I wasn't also thinking that maybe soon there should be a cover contest, as the cover for this book is very generic and boring. All it has to say is : Jim lake x reader by BlueMoonNightmare.
