I've actually never been to homecoming. Hopefully this would be a good experience. I need something good to happen because my life has clearly been shitty lately.

Violet came over to get ready with me. Her and I decided to wear a black dress. Hers was a little more sexy than mine.

I never realized how beautiful she really is. It's crazy how outfits can make someone look like a completely different person.

"You look so hot," she says as she puts in her earring. "Oh, please. Look at you!"

"I hate the way I look," she rolls her eyes. "What?! Why?!"

"I've never liked the way I look. You're so skinny, and then there's me."

"Are you kidding, Vi? Skinny isn't everything. There are so many beautiful body types. Skinny is not perfect. I actually hate being skinny. I wish I had a thicker body," I say.

"Really?" She says in surprise. "Yeah."

"Chloe! Violin! The boys are here!" I hear my dad call. "Dad, it's Violet."

"That's what I said! Violin!" Violet and I burst out laughing.

We leave my room and start heading down the steps, and I see Ethan and Grayson standing by the front door, shaking my dads hand.

"Smile!" My mom comes running around the corner. "Mom, not yet!" I groan.

Grayson looks at me in amazement. "You look really nice," he says.

"Thank you," I blush.

He looked amazing. His hair was nicely done, he smelt so fucking good, and his tuxedo fit him perfectly.

"Do you guys want pictures outside?" My mom asks.

"Sure," I say.

———

While we were getting pictures, Ethan couldn't keep his hands off of Violet. He squeezed her ass in one picture, and I'm pretty sure my mom got her reaction.

Ethan brought his BMW as our chariot to the dance.

"Have a good time! Make good choices!" My mom says. My dad was kind of quiet, but I think he liked Grayson.

I've learned that if my dad doesn't like someone, he just walks away, but he didn't!

Ethan sat in the front to drive with Violet at his side. Grayson and I sat in the back, which was a bit of a tight squeeze, but I didn't mind.

"Can I have the aux cord?" Violet asks. "Yeah, but put on some Nicki," Ethan says.

When she turned on the music, Ethan and Grayson knew all the lyrics and it made me laugh.

———

Scarlett, Olivia, and Allison showed up together wearing similar outfits. All of which were pink. Damn, is this Mean Girls or what?

Cameron was hanging around Allison, so I assume they're friends or maybe something else.

"Hey!" Cameron calls out to me. "Hi!" I smile and wave. Grayson grabs my arm and pulls me away with him.

"Where are we going?" I ask. "Just moving somewhere less crowded," he shrugs. It wasn't even crowded where we were at.

I recognize the song that comes on over the speaker. "Oh my gosh, I love this song!"

"When your legs don't work like they used to before"

He wraps his arms around my waist, which gave me goosebumps. I've never been touched by a boy like this before.

I wrap my arms around his neck and look into his hazel eyes.

"Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love?"

We both laugh and I'm pretty sure our minds were thinking the same thing...

We rock side to side and I gotta admit, he is a terrible dancer.

We locked eyes and he looked down at my lips. I knew what was coming, but I wasn't ready.

"We should go to Scarlett's party," I say. "Oh... yeah. We can do that," he nods.

"We should go find Ethan and Violet."

"They're most likely fucking in the car."

———

Scarlett's party was more packed than usual. There were so many people that it seemed like homecoming took place at her house.

Grayson grabs my hand as we walk in, and I follow behind him. The house was already a disaster when we walked in.

High heels were everywhere, vape clouds filled the air, and music vibrated the floor.

"Hey, G!" Cameron comes up to us and gives him a drink. "What's up, Chloe?"

"Vape clouds," I say. "Smart ass," he laughs and hands me a drink.

"Let's go party, dudes!"

"Gray," I grab his hand when he starts walking off. "Yeah?"

"Please don't get drunk. I need to get home tonight," I say. "I won't. Don't worry."

We start walking through the crowd, but I suddenly lose sight of him. I felt lost so I take my own path and find the kitchen.

The air felt thick and I could hardly breathe. There were water bottles on the counter, so I opened one up.

When I took a sip, it did not taste like water at all.

———

I was tripping over my own feet at this point. Everything was so blurry and I felt an urge to vomit.

Someone comes up to me and violently grabs my wrist. "Ouch," I whine as they pull me with them to a bedroom. They push me against the wall and I can suddenly identify them.

"Ethan, what are you doing?" I slur.

He slaps me across my face and presses my wrists against the wall so I can't move. He was too strong and I knew I was screwed.

"Stop! Let me go!" I squirm. He wraps his hands around my neck and chokes me. "S-stop," I struggle to breathe.

He pushes me to the ground and lifts up my dress and pulls down my panties. He starts unzipping his pants, but I kick my leg up to his crotch.

He falls over in pain and make my way up, some how, and leave the house as quickly as I physically can.

When I made it outside, I felt like I could breathe again. I bend over and throw up all the alcohol I had consumed.

After that, I was still bent over and I notice my panties were still at my ankles. I step out of them and toss it into a bush.

"Fuck," I groan. There was no way of getting home, so I knew I had to walk... alone... again...
