As we slowly pulled apart we looked at each other and smiled. I finally felt happy again. Maybe there was something between us. "Let's go up I can make us some dinner" I said. "Yea lets go" He said. I grabbed my board with one hand and I felt a hand slip into my other. I looked down and knew it was zach. The way I felt when I was with him. It was like nothing anyone could describe.

We walked up the steps to my house and I left my board out to dry. I needed to wax it later. I never wanted this moment to end. I really liked him.

When we got to the top of the steps my moms car was home. "That's weird" I said. He looked at me in confusion. I told him about my moms work schedule and she normally doesn't get home until about 10 on Friday's or even later sometimes. "Well let's go in" he suggested. He slipped on his shirt and I grabbed a sweatshirt hanging outside and slipped it on before going inside. We stepped inside and my Mom was at the table on her phone.

"Your home early" I said. She looked up and her eyes drew to zach and I saw a slight smile grow across her face. I smiled a bit because I knew she was gonna do something for him. "Oh this is my friend zach" I said. She stood up and walked towards him. "It's nice to meet you did you guys move In next door?" She asked. He nodded and smiled. She looked over at me and nodded her head. She knew. She could tell how I felt by the look on my face. She knew I liked him.

"Well zach it would be nice to meet you family are they free?" She asked. I looked over at him. This late? "Um I can ask" He said. "Ok tell them they can come for dinner how many siblings you got?" She asked. My mom was alway straight up. She always got to the point super quickly. "Two others" he responded. She looked up from her phone and smiled. "Invite then to" she said. I felt a little relieved I don't know why.

Me and Zach went out of the house. Still in our swim clothes. And walked over to his house to ask. "You mom seems nice" he said. His voice sounded kinda nervous. "She likes you don't worry she's pretty straight forward but that's to everyone" I answered. He let out a deep breath and laughed. "Ok good" he answered. We stepped inside his house and immediately reese came running over to me. "Hey sweetie" I smiled and hugged her. I consumed her in a hug and she held tight on to me. I heard someone walk In and it was Ryan. He flipped his hair and leaned against a wall. "Oh hey ash" he said. Trying to impress me again. He had a crush it was clear. "Hey Ry what's up?" I asked. He smiled and I fallows zach Into the living room. His mom was on the couch with a book.

"Hey ms herron" I said. She looked over and smiled at me. She came over to hug me. "Honey it's Myta don't worry about it your family to me, it's good to see you" she said and engulfed me in a squeeze. "Hey mom ash's mom invited us over for dinner" zach said. She let go of me and looked at her phone. "Well we haven't made dinner yet so why don't?" She asked. My mood rose from amazing to even more amazing. Everyone came including mr herron and before zach changed out of his swim suit and met over at my house.

When everyone came I was still getting changed in my room. I only had on jean shorts and bra when I heard someone knock on my door. I opened it only showing my head from the side. Zach.

"Hey can I come in?" He said. "I'm not wearing a shirt Wait a minute" I laughed. "That's fine" he smirked. I slammed the door on him and couldn't help but laugh. "I hear you" He said. I shook my head and slipped on a green shirt. I sprayed some perfume and opened the door.

"So this is your room" he said. He looked around and sat in my beanbag chair. Above it was a dangly light and he just stared it it. I had a cool room I guess. Behind my bed was a tapestry and I had these light up stars on my ceiling above my bed. They helped me fall asleep. Zach came over and laid down on my bed and stared at them. I laid next to him and looked also. I felt his hand slide next to mine. I looked over at him and he looked at me. We smiled. Perfect day.

We both got up and decided we should go see everyone. I fixed my hair In the mirror and zach stood there and watched. "Ew" I sighed. "What" He questioned me. "My hair is so gross" I laughed and flicked it behind to my back. "Ash don't even go there your beautiful" He said. I blushed and little and made my way out the door. "Your gorgeous" He said as I skipped ahead of him to go down. I stopped and blushed and kept walking.
