"So have you been surfing lately?" zach asked. How would i say it. No because well i can only surf when your around? "I have just been kinda busy but im trying soon" i lied. why has there been so many lies lately. I hate lying, to my best friend and my crush.

"well tomorrow night i have a gig at a bar but since its Sunday i dont think people will show so can you come?" he asked. When Zach sung it was amazing. He has never sung to me before but it was a goal. "yea just send me the details" i added. This upcoming week was our last day of school. Then finally summer. Some of the mean squad were finally graduating. Jonah and Corbyn were finally leaving. Jack and Daniel had one more year and Zach and i had two. Aspen had one more year and sydnie was graduating.

Zach and i ordered our food and continued talking the rest of the night. It was amazing. After he drove us back home but before we decided to walk along the beach before everything ended. I looked up at the stars and over at zach. He stood there watching me.

"your pretty cool Ash" he said. I couldnt hide my smile. I felt the same way and it was hard to hide. "Not gonna lie when i first moved here i thought it would suck, its so much better with you here" he added. God was he making me blush. "Well Mr Zach thank you. I like hanging out with you to" i smiled. I slowly moved my hand towards his and looked down. He was doing the same until our pinkies locked and our hands slowly moved towards each other.

"Yo zach!" I heard. Zach and I turned around and looked. Jack, Jonah corbyn and Daniel were with all the girls on the beach. Suddenly he let go of my hand and started to run forward with out me. I knew it. I couldn't trust the bad boy. He would let me down. He looked back and waved as I walked over to the stairs to
My house. He let me down again.

I walked into my house and noticed my mom still was out. I went straight to my room and laid in bed. I knew he would do it. I liked him just for him to play me.

Thoughts of him ran through my mind the whole night. How he still chose his shady friends over me. He just left without saying a thing. If he really cared.

Zach-tonight was fun sorry I ran off

I stared at the text for a few minutes. I decided I shouldn't answer. I didn't want to. I wanted him to figure out he couldn't play the bad boy game with me. How some of his friends made my life a living hell.

I put my phone down and went to sleep. I tried. I thought about him nonstop. If it wouldn't work out what would I do.

So I had to move on.
