The Jutsu That Can't Reach You

Genjutsu: Island of Demise

After blocking Maki's attack, Tobirama immediately jumped to a tree to go over Maya's location but suddenly caught off guard by one of Maki's jutsus.

“Evolution Jutsu: Double Heads!” Shouted by Maki after weaving a sign. Behind the head of his huge toad appeared another head that blasted another current of acid.

“A jutsu that create another head through fission?” Hashirama thought as he observed.

“What--?!” Shouted by Tobirama as he looked behind him and immediately tried to dodge the attack but still his right arm was caught. He fell to the ground, kneeling and holding his injury.

“Tobirama!” Hashirama shouted to his younger brother.

Tobirama looked behind him and stood up, looking back towards Maya's location, “I'm okay! Focus on your opponent!” Then he jumped off.

“Hey, wait a minute you--” Maki was about to follow him but was disrupted when large roots of woods held all of his beasts captive.

“You're not going anywhere, young kid.” Hashirama said as he held on to the sign of his jutsu.

Tobirama continued to jump over the tree branches.

On the other hand, Maya was still busy focusing her chakra. Her consciousness was slowly fading, her breathing slow and pulse getting weaker. Her life force getting eaten by the powerful jutsu she is performing with Katsuyu.

Never did the two clans know that the Shimura Clan who had planned this battle from the very beginning had another plan under its sleeves. Not too far from the small forest where the battle ensues is a valley where the Shimura Clan gathers and observes the fight.

Their leader, Kenichi Shimura was standing at the top of the valley, grinning widely as he hears the explosions and the swords clashing below the valley.

Kenichi Shimura was a 30-year old man. A guy with dark hair, black ebony eyes that looks very nasty and brown colored skin.

“Hmp. That's right both you foolish clans try to fight each other till death.” Kenichi grinned as he held to his sword.

One of his clansmen said while grinning as well, “Isn't it time now?”

Kenichi closed his eyes, then opened it as he grinned again then turned back to his men, “Yeah." He began walking towards his men who was all twenty in numbers. They started forming a circle and not long started weaving many signs then slap their hands together.

“Genjutsu! Island of Demise!”

From their location, a sudden large, blinding white light appeared that slowly occupied the whole valley, then eventually the whole forest.

Tobirama, almost at the mouth of the cave, suddenly felt the chakra of the Shimura Clan but was too late as he was eaten by the white light.

“D-damn it!" He shouted in annoyance.

Maya, on the other hand, had broken off her concentration as the white light has eaten her as well.

“W-what the hell is this?” She just said helplessly.

“A-aurgh..” Tobirama groaned as he was awakened by the strong sunlight. He immediately sit up after realizing what had happened. He was astonished when he learned where was he.

“W-what is this?" He looked at the vast ocean in front of him and the soft, white sand he was currently sitting. He stood and looked behind him, seeing tall trees and some other big plants.

He is currently in an island.

He wasted no time and tried to find anyone else around. He started walking to see other people but no one was around. It was only after some few minutes did he saw a woman, wearing black plated armor was lying on the beach.

He immediately ran over to her. He squatted near her and saw the white head band at her forehead that shows a drawing of a butterfly.

“Kemonomata huh.” He said. He, next, analyzed the woman's figure.

The woman owns a long black hair, tied into a pony tail. She has light-brown skin, and a small mole under her left eye.

Tobirama immediately noticed her very weak chakra. And this chakra, as he identified it, was the one that summoned the white slugs while they were in battle with the Kemonomata.

“So she's the one.” Tobirama just said.

His gaze was shifted to the bag located near the woman. The bag was opened and contained various ninja tools, specially for medical purposes, but what caught his attention is a book that almost got out of the bag.
