"H-hmm..." Maya groaned as she struggled to open her eyes. She was astonished to see the vast ocean in front of her, but was more shocked to feel ropes tying her hands behind her back as well as her leg tied, while her body is leaning in a large rock in her right "W-what the..."

"So you're awake."

She turned to the source of the voice and saw a fair-skinned man, wearing blue plated armors with a distinctive white collar over a simple black suit and a happuri, beneath his shoulder are two bands but the right one seemed to be burned and his right arm seems to be covered in bandages. He was having white, shaggy hair with some paint or scar looking markings on his face, one under his left eye, one under his right eye and another one on the chin. The man was standing near her left, he was carrying a bunch of small woods and branches as he was sternly looking at Maya.

Maya immediately got alarmed. "W-who are you??" She asked furiously. She noticed the sign on his happuri.

S-Senju? She thought.

"My name is Tobirama Senju. You?" Tobirama answered.

Maya didn't speak and just glared at him.

Tobirama closed his eyes, "Well, it doesn't matter if you tell me." He walked pass her and sat on her front-right as he dropped the twigs. He carefully placed the woods and arranged it.

"So you're the jutsu user." He said.

"Huh?" Maya answered cluelessly.

"You're the one who sent those small white slugs that healed our opponents. We were already winning and you barged in." He said as if annoyed while still arranging the twigs.

"H-how did you know?" Maya asked in disbelief.

"How do you think?" Tobirama answered, still not looking at her.

Maya bit her lower lip in annoyance, 'T-this guy is such a...' she thought. The battle came back to her again and got more alarmed. "Where are we? Where are the others? Why am I with you?"

Tobirama now sat crossing his arms, he turned to Maya as if he got more annoyed, "Can't you see I am as clueless as you are? I'm currently analyzing what happened."

She bit her lip again, more annoyed than ever to the guy in front of her. She just started remembering what happened, she remembered a white flash enveloping her and then she ended up on this island.

"T-the white flash..." She said.

"That's right." Tobirama said as he close his eyes, thinking, "I suspect its a jutsu from the Shimura. Its either a Teleportation Jutsu or...a Genjutsu."

"Huh? Shimura?" It was then that Maya remembered something. "Why the hell are our enemies the Senju? Did you striked a deal with the Shimura? You merciless creatures! Teaming up with the Shimura to finish us! You're like a vicious predator teaming up with a hyena to kill a small rat!" She gritted her teeth in anger.

Tobirama glared at her, "We are as confused as you are! Our enemies at that spot are surely the Shimura as well! We don't know what happened when your clan appeared! We thought you are Shimura's allies!"

"W-what? The Shimuras are supposed to be your enemies as well?"

"Yeah!"

"Then...that means..."

"The Shimura got us. This is a trap to make our clans fight."

"I-I see..."

Tobirama just sighed, "Use your head more will you? I can't believe you're already a shinobi! Relying on you're enemy's analysis, don't you ever consider that I may just be inventing stories to trap you up?"

"W-what did you say??" Maya exclaimed angrily,

Tobirama sighed again, 'she reminds me of brother.'

He got surprised a bit when he suddenly heared her crying and sniffing. "H-hey you..."

"I-I know I am useless. I am a failure and my mother doesn't acknowledge me that much either. You don't have to tell me that! I am just a useless, suicidal maniac."

She really is similar to Big Brother. Both of them are depressed idiots.

Tobirama sighed. "I didn't say anything like that." He turned to her, "I can't believe you are surviving the battlefield with that kind of attitude."

Maya looked at him, Maya now calming up. "You said you are Tobirama Senju?"

"Yeah."

"Are you possibly Hashirama Senju's younger brother?"

"How did you know us?"

She looked away, "Like who wouldn't?" She said, "Anyway, what's gon'na happen to us?" She asked, then a thought occured to her. "If this is a trap to make us fight, doesn't that mean that there is a traitor among our clan? The one who gave the information about Shimura's appearance on that forest?"

"Possibly, that might be the case in our clan as well."

"Trapping us like this... don't you think they'll come attack us later on?"

"So you're also thinking." Tobirama said. Maya glared at her.

"A-augh..."

Maya looked to Tobirama when he suddenly held his right arm, as if he was in pain. Then she remembered a while ago she saw that he definitely has injuries there. "Your younger brother got me."

"H-huh?"

"Me and my older brother were fighting your younger brother, Maki Kemonomata." Tobirama said as he still held his right arm.

"How did you know he was my brother...?"

"The white slug said, and I tracked your chakra."

"Oh, you're a Sensory Type."

"Your brother is strong in his age."

"R-really?" Maya said in delight.

"How old was he? I suppose he can't be older than ten."

Maya suddenly looked down below, sad, "He's only seven." Maya turned to look at Tobirama, Tobirama was not looking at her, he was looking at the ground. She wasn't sure of it, but she think she saw some sadness in his eyes, or perhaps it was an imagination?

"I'm sorry...if I made you remember some unpleasant memories." Maya suddenly said.

"I don't mind." Tobirama just replied.

"Do you wish for it too?" She asked.

Tobirama turned to her,"Wish what?"

"For the time to come where children wouldn't have to fight anymore."

He turned away from her to the sky, "Who wouldn't?" He answered, "But we have to be more realistic. Things like peace wouldn't come easy."

Maya looked down below, but turned to Tobirama again when he spoke.

"Did you wrote this?"

Maya immediately blushed when she saw Tobirama holding her manuscript in his hands. "T-t-that's!! T-that's my novel!" She said her face burning red. "Why do you have it?"

"I saw it in your bag." He said. He turned to open its pages again. "Its good. A novel that talks about the conflicts between clans today, but at the end it shows that peace can be attained through cooperation."

"That novel...engulfs my dreams."

"Seems like it."

"H-hey..." Maya said, a little bit embarrassed. "I have a proposition to make."
