Amelia sat on the couch sobbing as she clutched her head. A woman sat beside her and tried to comfort her. It was past five in the evening and it had been two hours since it happened."What am I going to do? It's happening now to my Lily, w-what should I do?", said Amelia. She was continously saying the same thing over and over. She was scared out of her mind for her daughter.
"Mel, calm down. Worrying is not going to solve anything, you know. For starters, how about you tell me about what you saw?"
*"Lily, where are you? Look, I brought you a sketchbook!", Amelia shouted from downstairs. When she got no reply, she walked upstairs to Lily's room. It was opened slightly and she had a bad feeling.
"Lily?", she said pushing the door open. And what she saw inside chilled her to the marrow of her bones. The lights to her room were turned off so the only light entering the room was from the opened door. There in the darkness, near the curtains, Amelia saw the silhouette of something that resembled a person but she knew it wasn't a person when she saw that it's arms were huge. They spread over both sides of the wall like a background. Terrified out of her mind, her first instinct was to turn on the light and when she did, there was no longer anyone there. She searched everywhere in Lily's bedroom but there was no sign of anyone or anything except for Lily who was asleep on her bed.*
"What should I do, Rosa?", Amelia asked looking at her old friend Rosa. Rosa was a middle aged woman. She was a tall, thin brunette woman with dark brown eyes that had lost their sparkle somewhere along life. She was someone Amelia trusted deeply and thus, she always went to her when something was bothering her.
"I am honestly surprised that you didn't consider this as a possibility. Despite everything, Lily is still his daughter.", Rosa said with a sigh.
"I don't know... I jus- How could I have..." was what Amelia replied with. She was unable to form coherent sentences in her state of frenzy.
"Take deep breaths, Mel. I will help you out. I can't stop this completely though. It's in her blood, however I can provide you with a temporary solution if that's what you want."
"Yes, please. Anything is fine. Just stop this." Amelia said to Rosa with an exhausted look on her face. Rosa stood up and walked out of the room to another. After a while, she returned carrying a bottle of water and a piece of paper.
"Here, take these. Sprinkle the water daily around Lily's room and put this paper inside something that she can wear on a daily basis. A necklace or bracelet, for instance." Rosa said handing over both things to Amelia.
"...Will this work?", Amelia asked with doubt evident in her voice as she eyed the two objects.
"Of course it will! Rosa never goes wrong. But remember this, Mel, her powers will only grow stronger and there might come a time when these things won't protect her. I just hope you'll be prepared for when that happens."

Mei: Hello folks. So you'll have to excuse Ami for not making an appearance today. She is allergic to ghosts and is currently shivering inside a blanket. I also wanted to tell you that there is going to be a time-skip in the next chapter.
Ami: H-how big will the time-skip be? *still shivering*
Mei: Oh you're still alive. And I guess we'll all just have to see that in the next chapter. Also plz Vote and comment guys ^_^. And A-ami?
Ami: W-what?
Mei: T-there is something behind you.
Ami: *screams so loud that the neighbours call the police*. W-wait. There is no one there.
Mei: Oops hehe.
*Runs away with Ami running right behind her with a spatula.*
