Amelia sat on a bench in the park looking at the family in front of her. A father, a mother and their little son. A perfect family. They were all smiling and laughing lost in their own little world of happiness. A world in which sadness and loneliness didn't even exist.

Amelia gritted her teeth overcoming with a feeling of nausea. She decided to go home because she was sure that if she stayed a bit longer, she'd end up puking.

She stood up and started walking away from the family when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw that it was the man from the family she was staring at earlier.

"Um excuse me, but do you mind taking a picture of me and my family?" He asked politely with an arm wrapped around his wife's shoulder.

"Sure", Amelia gulped inaudibly. She took the camera from his hand and took a couple pictures of him and his family while constraining herself to act immaturely. After a few photoes they thanked her and the man and the child went back towards the see-saw to play while the woman stayed behind.

"Hey! I am Natalie. Do you come here often?", The woman known as Natalie asked, smiling at Amelia.

"Yeah, sometimes. I am Amelia by the way", Amelia said deciding to be polite and smiled at Natalie.

"Do you live somewhere close? We actually moved here last week!"

"Yeah, it's at a walking distance from here.", Amelia said clearly not used to such friendliness.

"I see! You should come over sometime! That's our house", Natalie said pointing to a house at the end of the street.

"Sure! I really need to go now. It's getting late and I promised my daughter that I will buy food from Mcdonalds on the way. See you later!", Amelia said and started walking away towards her house making a mental note to herself to visit the wonderful family soon.

Lily sat on a couch watching tv in her house along with her other two bestfriends. They were currently arguing about what to eat.

"I say we order some chinese food", Kate said.

"No, Italian sounds better.", Lucas said flipping through the channels.

"Let's just skip that all and order pizza", Lily said flipping through her assignment and checking for any mistakes before she submits it.

"Hmm", Lucas said sighing before his eyes lit up at what he was watching on the tv. "Hey guys, look! The invisible target has striked once again."

Lily and Kate immediately focused on the tv and started to watch the news.

"According to our reports, this is the second time in a month that someone became the victim of a first degree murder. This time though unlike the previous times, more than one person was murdered. Further detail on the victims are that they were a family of three that just moved here a week ago from Arizona. It is being said that the police are doing their best and more officers from the state are taking charge of this case. Until the murderer is caught, it is highly advised for you all to stay inside, not to go outside after dark and stay safe."

"Woah", Kate yelped.

"This seems like something that would happen in a movie", Luke said with a sigh turning off the tv.

"It's scary to know that this is happening in our town of 2500 people. Anyone could be the murderer and we won't even know it.", Lily said shivering slightly.

"It's getting late, we better go.", Kate said stealing Lily's assignment while Lily glared at her. "Pretty please, Lily! I will give it back to you tomorrow morning at school. Please please please-"

"Okay, okay! Take it.", Lily said smiling slightly at her friend.

"Yay! I love you!", Kate said hugging Lily and Lily rolled her eyes. "Hey, Lily?"

"Hmm?"

"If you hear the news of my death tomorrow then know that the murderer is Luke. Make sure to avenge my death and send him to jail", Kate whispered to Lily but Luke heard and glared daggers at Kate.

Luke turned to Lily. "If you hear the news of my death tomorrow then know that it's not Kate because she doesn't have the capability to think or plot murders." This time it was Kate's turn to glare at him.

Lily only laughed and told her friends to get out. After they left, Lily couldn't brush off the feeling that something bad was going to happen.
