Callisto's POV

I bit down on Altair softly. He pushed me off the bed and onto the floor. I wheezed and stood up getting dressed in my uniform. I threw Altair's clothes at him.

"Get dressed, we already missed half the day" He demanded him.

He laughed at me and fixed his nose ring. "You're gonna leave this room? Looking like that? You look like a mess."

I shrugged and fixed my tie. "Dont care, I want to pass."

He rolled his eyes and got dressed as well. "Ill leave first and if anyone asks I'll say you went to find someone."

I shrugged. "Okay, but I think we have separate classes now, what time is it?" I asked him before he opened the door.

"You're learning spells right now, im learning about herbs" He picked his books up and walked out closing the door.

I fixed myself again and sighed. He was right,  I looked rough. I was all marked up and my hair looked bad, if I tried to fix it, it just got worse.

10 minutes after Altair left I did too. I walked down the empty hall. I turned to my class and opened the door.

Everyone turned to the door and looked at me. The class was dim so it shouldn't be so bad.

The teacher stopped. "Glad you could join us, Phoenix." I nodded and sat down next to Scarlet. She looked at me and then whispered.

"Where were you?" She asked.
I shook my head. "I had a headache-"

She snorted. "Right, then whats all over your neck?" I pulled my collar up. "N-Nothing.."

I stayed silent and wrote down notes.

Class was over. Now I went to share a class with Altair, which was Herbs. I was late again. I stepped inside. The teacher flicked the door shut and looked at me.

Altair and his friends laughed at me being startled by the door. She stared me down, she had a accent. It was quite different, but it sounded nice. "Nick, why are you late?" She scooted me towards the back near Altair and his friends. My face was on fire with embarrassment. The class giggled.

"Miss June, please. I lost my papers I was-" She cut me off. "You can sit here in between Altair and his friends who seem to be having a great time whispering."

I shook my head. "I dont like Altair-" Kane, Altair's best friend wheezed. "Says the one who stayed a week with him in the woods and then proceeded to say 'we're basically best friends now'" I sighed.

"And, Mister Phoenix, you get to wear the sweater of shame for the rest of the class." She pulled a red sweater on me that had flashy things with a blinking 'Shame shame shame' sign on it. I smacked my head on the desk as she went back to talk about plant reproduction.

Altair proceeded to talk to his friends, Kane poked my neck. "Did your girlfriend do that, Nick? What's her name. Scarlet?"

I smacked his hand away. "Or did Altair get you in his dreams." I turned to him. "Can you not?"

Altair wheezed and looked at me. "Ooo Kane, watch out, he's a feisty one" I turned to Altair and gave him the bird. "Sit and spin, dick head" I glared and buried my face in my arms and rest on the table. Altair's jaw hung open and his friends laughed at him.

Altair smacked my back and continued laughing and joking with his friends.
